And now he looked mediocre again on the Raiders.

Some organizations know how to get the best out of their QBs. Seattle is one of them. We are not.
Not to mention, Geno really only had 1 good season with Seattle.

He had one fantastic season with Seattle and another that would have been better than Kyler’s best
Did Brit ghostwrite this post?

Regardless, if he had “one fantastic season with Seattle and another”, riddle me why Seattle still got rid of him?

Because he's now in his age 35 season, Vegas gave him a bag, and they got a 28 year old Darnold as replacement for cheaper. Doesn't sound like too bad of a deal.

I should’ve asked if Mina Kimes ghostwrote that cause I guarantee K9 listens to Mina religiously & Mina is a big Geno fan.

Move on to what???? Kyler is making great decisions based on the issues facing this offense (OL playing poorly, no WR1, no RB1). Murray’s stat line last week against the Niners in a road game should have read 4 touchdowns 0 interceptions, 0 turnovers. No one can argue that. And last night, it was also obvious that BOTH picks were on MHJ. They even stated last night that MHJ has been responsible for multiple picks that Murray has had to take arrows for over the last 2 years. This is not meant to be a dig against MHJ. I think he’s a great kid & I pray he turns things around asap.

Bad OL, no WR1, no RB1, really no WR2 or WR3. He has a GREAT TE, but any average DC can figure out how to minimize a great TE when everything else I mentioned is missing. And yet, he still rallied us back late. For the time being, we can only hope that bodies come back on the D & they can keep us in games until MHJ develops into what we can only hope and pray he may be.

nit pick the first drop by MHJ and the drop by DeMErcado were the same drive so he could only have had 1 of those 2 td's, and the one Marv dropped in the endzone was the same drive where he got a TD pass to McBride. So they dropped 3TD"s but it would only have added 1 to his total

But that's NOT what you said. You said he was coming up to block but he wasn't, and didn't make any effort to block, he just stopped. To his credit after realizing there was a pick he did pursue the guy he didn't just stand there and do nothing. But he absolutely stopped his route he didn't try in any way to come back to be a target or to run block.

HC, OC and scheme change. And they saw an opportunity to get something for him and pick up Darnold who they obviously liked.

This is what I said.

He stopped because Kyler was running with the intention to block but didn't get the chance because Kyler threw immediately. This all happened in less than half a second.

I typed this exact thing this morning and deleted it because I didn't want to argue the point with people keen to pile on Marv.

When I first watched it I thought Marv broke off his route because he thought Kyler was scrambling. I still thought Marv could have attacked the route better though.

I think he stopped to block, then realised Kyler was throwing.

He wasn't going to scramble for a pass because Kyler was running through the A gap.

Or probably because he only had one good season. You don’t trade away QBs coming off of “fantastic seasons” unless a Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson was available.

There’s a reason K9 totally ignored that cause he knew he was wrong & couldn’t come up with a logical reason.

Strongly disagree with one good season. He had 2 PB's, 71 TD's, and 12000+ yards over 3 years.

I could settle on one very good season, one good season and one above average season.

The Seahawks actually offered Geno a contract extension, the Raiders called, he liked the idea of going to play for Carroll again. Maybe he thought MacDonald was an a hole or he wanted more money. Who knows? But it wasn't their first choice to move away from Geno. Geno drove that move.

I've never heard Warner say Fitz didn't want to run routes over the middle. That's just cowardly.

What he has said, e.g. just yesterday, is that Fitz didn't want to line up in the slot, that he was more comfortable outside.
Fitz went over the middle and used to tell defenders to hit him high. Concussion > leg injuries mindset basically. Guys like Fitz and Boldin were a different breed.

I find it interesting that nobody has ever considered that Kyler just might not really throw a very catchable ball.
Back in the day it was a pretty common conversation on some QB's... the spin has a huge effect on the catchability...thats why so many left handed QB's take time to blend into the starting lineup... its possible the spin murray puts on the ball makes it hard to catch..or maybe is inconsistent like the rest of his games..and thats why we see otherwise decent WR;s dropping balls that hit them right in the mitts.
but that off season work should have prepared them for any differences in ball movement

I'd need to watch more, but I'm kinda worried that he only puts it in when the ball is coming to him.
If that's the case he might as well leave it in the locker room. Also he shouldn't know the ball is coming to him pre-snap, and that is part of the problem if he does. That just means Kyler will not audible, can not read defense's, and will not go through his progressions.

Don’t tell him that he is incapable of understanding that the Cards are the problem.
