Great first quarter we still haven't seen him do it over a full game although last night I think Petzing is the one who shut him off. All those runs

The Seattle game is one of the few instances in which I felt his porous production was his own doing. Beyond that, I think yesterday proved that he’s not a priority in Drew’s offense

I think the Titans game showed that Drew doesn't have an understanding of effective offense with actual players in mind. The lack of engagement of his best two offensive weapons highlights this. The lack of flow to his gameplans highlight this. It's like he can't run the ball, and throw the ball deep, and counter a defense. He seems to have little to no adjustments as games go on. Also, I am starting to believe Golden's comment about not having checks in the offense.

Moved from 33rd in yards to 19th
imagine what the kid might do if they knew he was on the field the entire game instead of just a single quarter.

just another dumbfounding stat from that game.. the way Marv was working that defense....they should have connected with him for 250 yards

Second concussion in two seasons, not a good trend…. AT ALL
Lack of separation & bad pass by Brissett.

Hope he heals up 100% cause that matters the most but I really just don’t see dude as a consistent dominate WR, mainly against CBs playing press.

I expect Kyler to miss next week as well.

If Marv clears protocol, & targets are still going toward everyone else but Marv for the most part against Green Bay’s sketchy CBs.

I will be extremely worried.

I think he's going to be one of those guys are very QB dependent. And tbf most guys are.

However, I think we're all past thinking he'll be a Fitz/DHOP/Justin Jefferson level WR where it doesnt matter who the QB is.

We might really need to luck up and land an elite QB.

And that’s what concerning with the 4th overall pick.

People here have made up their minds that Kyler is holding back Marv from being in the same tier as Jefferson or Puka. I do think Kyler is holding back, but holding him back from being a top 7-10 guy, not 1-5.

He was Top-20 in yards going into today despite the offense not prioritizing him & a QB that throws downfield. With Jacoby looking Wilson and Zay’s way consistently, It’s safe to say that MHJ would’ve caught for 100+ today had he played the whole game. Zay caught 5/8 targets. That frequency and percentage are better with MHJ.

The issue with the offense has never been MHJ. It’s a tie between Petzing’s enemic offensive game plan and Kyler’s fundamental limitations

Pickens isnt a top 10 WR, but these are more of the kind of plays I want to see with MHJ.

Plays to end soon when he has the ball in his hands or its like he's looking to fall down after the catch.

A more passing focused offense would at least help him work on that stuff.

Kyler limits him, but Kyler doesnt limit Trey. Thats the point. Elite is great regardless.

Maybe the offseason changes will bring that out of him though. We'll see.

Seems like Marv got injured in the very early going; it’s fair to think that he would have had much of the opportunity given to Zay Jones.

I don’t think that. I think Kyler is holding MHJ back from being Garrett Wilson, DHop, or Fitz.

Petzing may be holding him back from being JSN/Egkuba/Kupp.

You’re more optimistic than I am. I’d be shocked at this point if he’d break top 10.
