Nope. And the crazy thing is he’s not even CLOSE to those guys.

I mean… it’s not like he’s going out there and dropping the WIDE OPEN bomb and then coming back and making that HUGE catch in the end zone to make the argument that he’s up and down… because he had a chance to redeem himself there and make a somewhat tough but huge catch and dropped that too.

It’s bizarre how mid he is… and I’ll be honest, with the way he just keeps dropping EASILY caught balls, is he even really mid?
He’s awful.

Not when he signed this last deal. It was top 5. He never deserved it and still doesn’t. He is garbage. I wish I could produce at my job like hot garbage and get hundreds of millions. Is America a great country or what?
He is number 14 in QBR. He isn't great, but he isn't hot garbage either.

So I guess the best case scenario would be if we get Will johnson back Thur but that seems unlikely. Our Db's actually held up but seattle has better receivers and 2 good RB's so it's going to be a huge ask for the D to play that well again.

We have to get PJJ back and we have to run the ball better. Without Conner that's a big ask. I expect Michael Carter to be active next week as the backup RB with DeMercado as the 3rd down guy.

We scored 13 points today. After scoring 20 the last two weeks. If he’s not THE problem, he’s also not the solution.
Those dropped passes would’ve helped us today. I’m not sure what else you want from Murray today. I’ll happily jump on the fudge Murray bandwagon but today is not the day.

We should have won this game Cheese. We should be the worst 3-0 team in the history of football.

Before the fateful throw to Z. Jones, you typed a post that I agreed with. Something along the lines of "this is where a great QB makes a play to win his team the game".

K1 did his part on that play man. Agree? What more do you want from him? Other than to make the play that wins the game?

Agreed. Kyler isn't good enough to overcome issues that inevitably pop up in games. The margin for error with him at QB is minimal. That said, the biggest issue currently is that very few players are getting better or at least showing it on the field. When your plan is "Draft and develop" that is a major problem.

If you think that replacing K1 will help this team after watching that your name befits you.
Even if one of one of those guys makes the easy catch at most we score 20pts on offense today. Murray’s offense this year has been dreadful. But keep on carrying the torch for a completely meh choke artist.

Demercado doesn't drop, Harriosn doesn't drop that ends up a lot more than 13. But, it is what it is. Unless we trade for that horrible human Tyreke, this is our team.
Were the MHJ (the wide open one) and DeMarcado drops on the same drive?

Luckily, you are not our GM.

What is much more likely is that:

1. DP will be replaced either mid-season or after the season.

2. The Cardinals will retain Murray and go all in on offense similar to what the did on defense this past offseason.
If that’s the case I guess we are stuck watching an unclutch choke artist who plays the game with poor football IQ. Sucks for us.

Those plays were on the same drive… so that gives us a whopping 17 if either catches the ball since we got a FG anyway and a TD would only be 7 more.

Yay. 17 points!

What the heck has happened to Rallis? Last year's defense lacked talent but over-performed their talent level. This year's defense is not performing up to their talent level. :help:
Defense gave up 16pts today and scored 2 on a safety (net of 14pts). They cracked in the end, but they weren’t really the story of the loss today imo.

Well, if it was only so easy. The QB class this year is not off to a very good start. We draft one of them high, it's back to rebuild mode.

Probably the best chance would be to find the next Daniel Jones or Sam Darnold. Like we did with Palmer and Warner. I have no clue who, and I do not think it is Brissett.
It’s not Brisset. And while I’d be okay with a retread, if it works (throw in mayfield too), I’d just really like to find a homegrown QB who can play for us for 15-17 years for once. Not have to ooze back to the sludge that post-Warner and post-Palmer entailed.

My usual emotional attachment to this team has been fading lately. It's feels like a long continuation of preseason that's how non-interesting & vanilla everything feels right now. My butterflies during games where gone and got no energy to even get mad or care after this lose.

Kyler had a lot of time today.

On that play sure… but that wouldn’t have taken away the overall point that he was beyond mid again today and that this offense is stuck in mud. Which is for a variety of reasons.

Here’s where I stand on Kyler. He neither lifts nor sinks this team. He’s beyond mid just like everything else about them.
