Whoa whoa wait a minute here. I left my hometown to move to Wisconsin. So no I'm sticking with the cards. By the way it was a really good job, but I've grown to love Wisconsin. It's beautiful here and I sure as heck don't miss the heat. There's only two things I miss about PHX, Mexican food and our season tickets. If you moved here, then your hometown sucked. Get on board or go back if green Bay(insert bandwagon here) is such a great place
I highly doubt it. The massive amount of injuries alone will ( right or wrong) buy this regime another year.Playing devils advocate here, we can do this should / could thinking for the majority of losses this year.
Way too many winnable games thrown away due to bad decisions by coaches or players. It is a consistent theme with this team all year. The mistakes dont stop they just keep happening.
I think we have a big enough sample size to know what needs to be done. Whether MB pulls the trigger or not im unsure. He did it with Wilks but then he got talked into those extensions for K1, KK and Kiem.
If you are drafting a QBoF you either get rid of this group and start fresh or you are committing to several years of the current dudes. So many QBs seem to have progress greatly stunted ( perhaps that is my own observational bias) by the constant shifting and have to learn “new” systems and verbiage. Of course that is no guarantee of success either so I guess do whatever lol.I highly doubt it. The massive amount of injuries alone will ( right or wrong) buy this regime another year.
Our special teams last year was very good. This year not so much. Losing our punter hasn’t helped. Our special team personnel has taken a massive hit too. This might take Rodgers off the hot seat.
Losing your top 2-3 rb’s has hurt us. Add to all that the resurgence of the offense since the change at QB may take Petzing off the hot seat.
When your defense losses 80% of the cornerbacks it might have an affect on the defense and defensive calls, no? A pardon for Rallis?
One would think SOME changes have to be made. A massive overhaul, I don’t think so. But don’t fire Gannon if your going to replace him with the special teams coach from Northern Illinois University.
Not really going to debate you. Right or wrong I just don’t see it happening. If you are drafting a QBoF you either get rid of this group and start fresh or you are committing to several years of the current dudes. We are 2-3 with Murray and 1-4 with Brissett. Big whoop we have more yards and points with Jacoby. He is a good backup. Not really going to debate you. Right or wrong I just don’t see it happening.
You can’t deny this offense has operated at a higher level since Murray was removed from the picture.
Now add a RT and a starting rb how much better can it be.
If you are on the side of Murray stymied this offense, perhaps QBOF could function.
If you can’t see how much better this offense is running, then there’s not much more to talk about. We are 2-3 with Murray and 1-4 with Brissett. Big whoop we have more yards and points with Jacoby. He is a good backup.
We are just so screwed at the QB position. I don't care who we could draft, I don't think any of them can be good for years. Free agency and trades look bleak.
When Murray comes off IR he has to start IMO. And hope beyond all reason he looks good the last four games. 1. For trade value if we are set on drafting a QB, we gotta move up to the top 3 if we are not there already. Or to trade for a vet if we screw up the draft position with two or three wins which we probably will because it's the Cardinals way.
Then why aren’t we winning more games? If you can’t see how much better this offense is running, then there’s not much more to talk about.
I don't give a crap about 400 yards passing when we are getting blown out. Jacoby is a good backup, that is it. He has had several shots to be the guy and he has never been the guy. And he isn't this time either. If you can’t see how much better this offense is running, then there’s not much more to talk about.
If stats were the deciding factor we would have the last 3 games. The two fumble td returns sealed the game early.I don't give a crap about 400 yards passing when we are getting blown out. He is probably playing as well as he ever has. He just isn't a starter that will take a team anywhere significant. Even with a decent start today he showed his limits against a good rush.If stats were the deciding factor we would have the last 3 games. The two fumble td returns sealed the game early.
Remember Brissett is doing this with no running backs. He’s exploiting defenses with McBride. The offense is running better than we were with Murray.
