I'd have to start off with Get Shorty, what a crapfest. I would rather watch two cats having sex then watch this trash. For your movie to count it had to have been played nationwide and have a few stars in it. No movies like Vacuummen from jupiter count.

You are quite possibly the only human being that didn't like Get Shorty. :D

Ditto.

And, Devon, I'm sure you'll be thrilled to know that a sequel is likely going to be made within the next couple of years.

I personally like Elmore Leonard's stuff (wrote the book which Get Shorty was based on).

Worst mainstream movie?

Waiting to Exhale.

UGH.

I'd have to agree. I'm a huge Sandler fan, but this movie just stunk. It was one of those remakes that never should have been made.

I don't know what the worst was. I don't see a lot of movies if I don't think they will be very good. I am usually a pretty good judge of what I will like.

One I want to the theatre to see and didn't like was Payback.

I did like Get Shorty.

Wow those are some good ones Chap.

I thought Broken Arrow and Cobra were entertaining. Even if Cobra was for the wrong reason. It was unintentionally funny.

I walked out of Ishtar, I never watched the whole thing. It could be the worst, I will never know. ;)
Never watched Judge Dredd it never looked good enough to spend timing watching.

Another one for the list: Me, Myself, and Irene. Bleh.

And...I liked Hudson Hawk.

Well, I haven't seen it, but I'm sure everyone would agree nonetheless...Battlefield Earth.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. My friend really liked it and convinced me to watch it.

Aaaaaaargh! What a truly heinous thing they did to one of the best Sci-Fi novels of all time!

Mystery Men.

It speaks volume when the funniest moment in a movie is when a skunk starts humping a guy's leg in the moonlight, and the other person says, 'Just go with it man.' Pathetic movie!

And it had so many good actors in it! Ugh!

I read the book before I watched the movie. The book was quite long so I didn't get to see it in the theater. Man I'm glad I didn't waste any money on that one.

For such a great novel I can't believe how bad the movie was. A total disappointment. Someone has to redo this movie and do it right.

ROR

And Travolta wants to continue the series/do a sequel. But then that should be no surprise since he is involved in Scientology (and L. Ron Hubbard wrote the BE series and founded the Church of Scientology).
