The Vikings with Kyler are going to be NFC favorites? I think people will look at them as a likely playoff team, but your favoritism is showing with the favorites talk.
Brother, the Vikes have everything but a decent QB and K1 is more than decent. K1 was 2-3 with this crap team. The Vikes are miles ahead of us.

You just agreed with me without knowing you did. It doesn't matter the reasons why, it means no team is willing to trade for him. Weather it his play, his contract, or his attitude.

Don't matter either way if he's not traded nobody wanted to make the trade. Because it's obviously in the best interest of the cards to trade him cap wise
It’sa combo of the three that makes it likely he is cut. His play doesn’t justify the contract and his attitude is well known

K1 will not go to a dumpster fire of an org when he can be cut and go where he wants.

Prepare yourself for him being cut.
Or he could be made to stay here in hell.
The way this would work is we would tell Kyler to negotiate with a team of his choice and then a deal will be worked out.
The Vikings, Steelers, Saints and maybe a couple of more could bid against each other.
Kyler doesn’t want to be here. He will work with the Cardinals to get out of here.

They have an abnormal amount of injuries, I don’t chalk it up to bad luck. I chalk it up to they are doing something wrong with how they train these players physically. Sadly, without changes, I fully expect and will even predict they will be one of the most injured teams again next year.
This is what has troubled me since Gannon arrived: How can the Cardinals have soooo many injuries compared to other NFL teams? What are other teams doing that Arizona is not doing? Why have 2 consecutive first round picks started the season on IR? Are we trading too hard? Not hard enough? You expect some injuries, some debilitating injuries, but this team’s injury report week in week out is crazy.

Why all the effort by PHNX podcaster Venable and his partner to get Gannon fired if he loses out the rest of the games? The wins would be meaningless and actually hurt draft position. What happens in the last games just doesnt matter in trying to navigate long term plans of Big Red. Gannon was forced to play Murray so has never had his QB and team has had terrible injuries that have destroyed the run game. A team that cant run the ball has no chance to keep their QB standing. However Brissett has managed to play at a high level with 300 yards a game in games he started and 15 TD to 5 picks.

As a youth in the 80s there were so many seasons where Big Red would collapse in first weeks only to finish strong. In most cases finishing strong didnt mean anything. However in 1983 the team struggled early in the season including an embarrasing tie on Monday Night Football where O'Donoghue or Giants kicker could not kick a winning FG on a game that went into overtime with final score of 10-10. Hanifan then put things together and they finished 8-7-1 just missing the playoffs and being the last team to beat LA Raiders who beat Washington in the Super Bowl 38-9. The Big Red beat the Raiders in LA. Late in season the Big Red was one of the best teams in the league. In that case it carried over although they only won 9 games in 1984 they came within a FG of beating Washington and winning the East. I think had they won the East and won a playoff game they would not have moved. So in 1985 CBS picked the Big Red to win the Super Bowl. Lomax and Green were a force as well as Ottis Anderson and Stump Mitchell. Madden named Roy Green to his all Madden team saying he was best player in the league. Not best WR but best player. The Big Red had their secondary decimated in a game against Houston and their season collapsed. I still think Oilers purposely tried to injure Big Red DBs. So Hanifan could never get the team over the hump but except for his team I saw too many Big Red teams finish strong and it not translate into a successful season the next year.

Brother, I never said the Vikes weren’t miles ahead of us.

Let me refresh your memory… YOU SAID The Vikings with Kyler would be NFC FAVORITES. You really believe that? Should we make an avatar bet? assuming they even sign/want Kyler, if he ends up on the Vikes, are in they the NFC Favorite before the season… should we make that ludicrous bet?

Rumor churns a lot this time of year. Most on the board won’t like this one. Gannon stays but agrees to major changes in his staff and involvement. First Petzing and Rodgers are gone. Rallis stays but Gannon must be more actively involved with game planning with the defense including during the game itself. Several position coaches must go (2 are already leaving). This would be a major shakeup and it’s unclear if Gannon would agree. If he doesn’t agree, he goes as well. Since some of these coaches have longer contracts, Bidwill will be eating some money. Ossenfort stays. Owner ship believes the problems are mostly game planning and game management. They believe Gannon has been too passive during games. They feel much of the roster is sound, but ownership is open to multiple additions including a QB. It is unclear who’s advising Bidwill, but it’s believed he is consulting someone without a formal position. He is very concerned about fan attitude.

Well, although I sad faced this, I'm thinking this is probably our best case scenario. Sadly. MB was never firing Monti, as much as he deserves it. He was likely never firing Gannon. Cleaning house except for Gannon and Rallis was about as good as it would get, IMO. Let as all pray that Gannon says no so MB fires him too. Unfortunately, that would leave Human Snail Part Deux in charge of finding a coach and drafting a QBOF, but what else can we hope for?

Harry, I'm afraid that you might be right and Gannon will stay for another year. I heard on a talk show that Bidwill feels the problem is mainly injuries and that he likes Gannon. Being a long time season ticket holder, I hate to think of going to games for another year with this incompetent coaching staff. :bang:

We can hope that Monti follows a Les Snead like trajectory and plays the QB acquiring game aggressively, and finds an offensive wonderkund once Gannon is done here. Hope is free.

Stan Kroenke is probably who is advising Michael. Yes Michael, keep things the way they are. Just try small changes at first. I know you are worried about attendance but don't worry, we will sell out your stadium when we come.
Probably true - Hey Michael, look how much money I made with Casitas. Focus on that!

Stan: “And since you let us use your stadium for our playoff game, consider this advice free of charge buddy!”
