The one bright light we may be able to use to lure a decent OC is a high pick with a promise to go after the QBOF for the OC to mold. Add in that Gannon is a defensive coach and won't meddle with the offense, and we might--might--get it done.

I’d be all for it.

He has to sign their first but I would be in.

K1 on the Vikes would scare the living crap out of the league.
Deal. If K1 signs there and they’re not the NFC betting favorite pre-season at that point, I get to decided your avatar and vice versa.

Well that is a much better scenario. I just know what happened with DHop and I pray this is not the same thing.
Yeah we said we didn’t want to trade DHop because we didn’t want the immediate cap hit. JJ Watt and Rodney Hudson were already June 1 designated. So we had to wait until then to actually release him and play a weird game pretending to want him around.

Speaking of DHop, did he ever conclude his own internal investigation on how he failed that PED test and find those who were really responsible for that happening?

My hope is that McDaniel gets fired from Miami and agrees to be our OC. (assuming everyone else stays)

Well, they would then have an interim coach for when they fire Gannon at the bye week anyway. As long as he doesn't bring Tua with him it would be a really good hire.

No chance they can even afford to bring Tua if they wanted to... Unless it was some sort of weird Kyler for Tua swap or something.

I’d hoped for McDaniel, but Miami announced they are keeping him.

You can now cut a player early and simply designate them as an after 6/1 cut if I’m not mistaken.

Yes, but the number of players you can do that with are limited, which is literally what I said in the post you quoted.

Here’s a source so you don’t even have to do your own research:

I know we are in "get rid of Kyler at all costs" mode, but TUA?

This is the kind of thinking that extends disasters of a team. "If Simpson there at 6 we HAVE to draft him". If "Scrambled Eggs Tua can be acquired let's get HIM!"

:bang:

I don't want Tua. I'm just saying that trading Tua for Kyler would be the only way that he could be on this team, if we hired Mike McDaniel as OC.
