The Phoenix sports media rarely knows what is going on.You better buckle up because that’s the going word from media in Phoenix
They have an abnormal amount of injuries, I don’t chalk it up to bad luck. I chalk it up to they are doing something wrong with how they train these players physically. Sadly, without changes, I fully expect and will even predict they will be one of the most injured teams again next year. The only guaranteed change at this point is Murray will not be in a Cardinal uniform next season. Other than that, carry on. Injuries which to some extent have derailed this season will be the primary reason things will stay steady. Petzing may go, however even that is no guarantee. There may be some position coaching changes. They will roll out top 3 RBs injured, WR injuries on and off, TE injuries (Reiman), Oline injuries, CB injuries, Even Dline (Nolan and other minor players) loss of starting ILB and of course QB even though he is on his way out.
Just look at this link: Injury list
This staff will get another year to guide this team.
The offense is playing better than expected, given the injuries and the poor coaching, in my opinion.Just look at this link: Injury list
We’ve lost 10 of the last 11 games. Finding someone better than that shouldn’t be that hard.Finding someone better is very difficult.

I don't really disagree with your position however here is where reality sets in. Finding a new HC probably wouldn't be too hard, however considering names that have either turned down Bidwill or used him as leverage for another job is historically well known. We would probably end up with someone similar to GANNON that would be just as inexperienced as he is. Now maybe if you could persuade someone from the Dan Campbell staff you may hit there.Roster no doubt has suffered some blows but comes down to if you think Gannon can hang with these 3 other head coaches in the division.
I think he has clearly demonstrated he can not - we would be better off blowing this thing up and starting with a new HC and QB
Most of the ticket money for live attendance is shared revenue for the league split among the teams. Only revenue from the club/loft/casita type tickets are 100% retained by the team. Unless that's changed in the last couple of years.I believe he will survive Monday as well as the rest of the year. I also believe he will survive next year as well. Drew Petzing nope (his contract is up so don't renew it). I'm not so sure about Rallis. If his contract is a 3 year contract which it most likely is, I wonder why his defense went from one of the most blitzing DCs in 2023 and defense played way over expectations to one of the least in 2025 and playing way under expectations has me worried.
I have never been a person who felt that the top college teams could beat any professional team, but the Cardinals Indiana, OSU, or Georgia's would give the Cardinals a run for their money right now. Is it players or coaches? Maybe a little of both
Bidwill and Monte will have some tough decisions at the end of the year though. Maybe let JG survive with an experienced NFL OC to start with next year and figure out why Rallis has regressed.
For those who say, Bidwill cannot afford letting JG go, that is hogwash. Yesterday's game had about 10k-15k empty seats. That translates to probably $1.5M - $2M in lost revenue (assuming $150/person). That is close to $20M a season. Eating coaches contract isn't the issue in my opinion. I truly believe Petzing and our QB situation is so bad, it changes the dynamics of the team. Bring in a servicable QB, better RB room, get guys healthy, get Rallis out of the zone defense 90% of the teim and then most importantly, get an OC that can adapt.
This is correct. Club/suite tickets are retained by the home team. It's the reason why Jerry put a record amount of Club seats in AT&T Stadium. Most of the ticket money for live attendance is shared revenue for the league split among the teams. My understanding was slightly off/it's changed a bit. It looks like "regular seat" revenue is split 1/3 (34%) while the remaining 2/3 (66%) stays with the home club. Premium seating says 100% local. So, the empty seats do have some impact on the club's bottom line, but honestly not as much as people think. This is correct. Club/suite tickets are retained by the home team. Over 60% of income comes from shared league revenue. Tickets make up about 15% of individual team revenue, so Mikey is definitely losing quite a bit of money putting out a crap product year after year.My understanding was slightly off/it's changed a bit. I would agree but this is coming from PHNX and they have been right all season. The Phoenix sports media rarely knows what is going on.
Posted in another thread, but I did some research and the Cardinals have almost 80% of their revenue coming from shared league revenue (league average is 62%). I found this interesting, but I guess it makes sense since our ticket prices are among lowest in the league and we probably have less premium seating than a lot of clubs with newer stadiums.Over 60% of income comes from shared league revenue. They are just reporting what Benjamin Allbright has been saying for a couple months. He's still sticking to it after yesterday's game, btw.I would agree but this is coming from PHNX and they have been right all season.
Makes sense. Mikey can't field a product good enough to put people in seats, so his ticket share is much lower than other teams.Posted in another thread, but I did some research and the Cardinals have almost 80% of their revenue coming from shared league revenue (league average is 62%). The defense has no excuse, the injury list on defense is pretty minor, relatively speaking, the poor depth and lack of playmaker was a choice by Monty and by extension, we assume, Gannon.
Gotta start somewhereWe have a career backup journeyman QB, who is actually better than our starting QB.
We had 2 PS running backs.
We only had one NFL quality WR.
Three starting OL were out injured.
We played one of the top teams in the NFL.
Why are people shocked we got our asses kicked?
Firing everyone is easy. Finding someone better is very difficult.
I think he means finding someone better and with experience is difficult. They may not want to come to this dumpster fire. We’ve lost 10 of the last 11 games. Finding someone better than that shouldn’t be that hard.
Any idea what percentage of concessions the Cards get? A half-filled stadium is gonna hurt Mikey there, I’d imagine. My understanding was slightly off/it's changed a bit. State Farm Stadium official capacity for regular season football games is 63,400.Yesterday's game had about 10k-15k empty seats. That translates to probably $1.5M - $2M in lost revenue (assuming $150/person). That is close to $20M a season.
Damn-it.... quit throwing out facts! Let me live in misery and despair.State Farm Stadium official capacity for regular season football games is 63,400.
Attendance at the Rams game was 61,970.
All those empty seats were paid for by people who didn't bother to attend, or brokers who couldn't unload the tickets.
I found these graphs behind a paywall, but was able to take a little screen capture.
There is zero pressure on Bidwill based on attendance.
