Any idea what percentage of concessions the Cards get? A half-filled stadium is gonna hurt Mikey there, I’d imagine.
I'd imagine it's 100%, especially because the club owns the F&B company (but has partnered with local chefs/restaurants more recently, I guess).

Edit: They did own Rojo Hospitality Group. It looks like Craft Culinary Concepts is their F&B now, which services stadiums/teams beyond State Farm Stadium but it looks like Timothy Bidwill is one of their main executive team members.

So many people eager to spend Bidwill's money. Unlike other owners the only source of wealth for Bidwill is the Big Red. It is similar to people who are wealthy through real estate. They may be on paper wealthy but are cash poor. I suspect that he is not very liquid and cash available for operations is not nearly as great as for the other NFL owners. Coming up with the cash for Murray and coaching staff is not easy for Bidwill. He doesnt want to have to come up with the cash for three head coaches.
On so many levels this is false

You better buckle up because that’s the going word from media in Phoenix
On 92.3's Outspoken with Bruce & Gaydos yesterday, they had a football segment with Paul Calvisi (sideline reporter for the Cards). They asked him about Gannon being fired and he said "Absolutely no chance of that happening. Coach isn't going anywhere. It's not his fault the team was ravaged by injuries."

Telling people that JG will be back no matter how bad it is and it is terrible.

Running back anyone associated with disaster is so Cardinals and shows there is zero care if they win or not.

Obviously Calvisi isn’t going to break any news and he’s definitely not going to do it on a news station.

This is just #content.

That said, the Cards Underground group fell all over themselves saying Kyler was injured and to not compare Jacoby and Kyler. They can’t say this is the end of the Kyler era, but the did cut his highlights out of the pre-roll.

Um Shefter and national media are saying the same thing. It ain’t just content it’s the truth.

The next truth will be they are cutting K1 after the season is over and once again will get nada for a player of significance. The Cards historically are the worst run sports franchise on earth. No one comes close.

I can only hope that there isn’t a successor to the Tiny Tyrant that owns them and he sells.

National media got it from same place Calvisi did:

I don’t understand the disbelief on this topic. By leaking this stuff they are bracing the fans base for the reality of this. Nothing that gets out in the media is by accident.

If Gannon is retained there are some things that MUST happen to even slightly appease the fans.
Petzing fired and replace with a known quantity.
The best qb coach in the planet needs to come here.
Our o-line coach needs to be replaced.
The d-line coach needs to be replaced.
Perhaps special team coach should go.

Or just hire Klayton Adams as our new head coach.

I don't really disagree with your position however here is where reality sets in. Finding a new HC probably wouldn't be too hard, however considering names that have either turned down Bidwill or used him as leverage for another job is historically well known. We would probably end up with someone similar to GANNON that would be just as inexperienced as he is. Now maybe if you could persuade someone from the Dan Campbell staff you may hit there.

Additionally here is your choices for FA QBs in 2026. It's a who's who of nobodies and and moldy oldies. Maybe outside of Mariota, who I think is equivalent to Brissett, I don't see any of them being an upgrade. Jones has a torn Achilles, so his availability has taken a hit. As for the draft, with the current condition of our Oline, I wouldn't want to see a rookie exposed to that abuse from the get go. And there is no one in the draft that looks like a day one starter. Maybe the combines end up elevating someone but then you have to trade away a lot to move up high enough to grab him.

  • Daniel Jones (Colts)
  • Aaron Rodgers (Steelers)
  • Russell Wilson (Giants)
  • Marcus Mariota (Commanders)
  • Joe Flacco (Bengals)
  • Trey Lance (Chargers)
  • Kenny Pickett (Vikings)
  • Zach Wilson (Dolphins)
  • Malik Willis (Packers)
Mariota is the only one I’d consider an upgrade.

What has Klayton Adams done
I know he was a good offensive line coach for the Cards, but I wonder the same thing. Isn't Schottenheimer still calling the plays for Dallas? Kind of like when Bruce Arians was in Arizona and Harold Goodwin was his oc? That said, I don't think Klayton could do worse than Gannon as HC.

I've got questions:
Is MB still paying Wilkes and how much?
Keim?
KK?
Anyone else?
Since KK and Wilkes are employed by NFL teams doesn't that lessen the amount MB has to pay out?
I can see MB keeping JG but an Offensive consultant has to be brought in.

Wilks ended in 2023
Kliff is on contract til 2027 for just 7.5 million a year
Keim was also given a contract until 2027 but I cannot locate the annual payout. Also Keim stepped down while Kliff was fired. Micheal may not owe anything to Keim or did some sort of buyout.

Fire them all! Why would a proven OC come here if the head coach is on a short leash? IF the OC is good enough, just make him head coach.

I can’t imagine what the mental gymnastics of a Cards podcast featuring team employees sounds like right now.

If they cut him instead of trading him then no teams are interested. They will have to do K1 and a 3rd round pick for a 5th rounder at that point. Which is not out the question to get rid of him. Brock Osweiler style.

WC, when I see the Colts signing 144 year old Phillip River, the Broncos spending a gazzilion dollars on Wilson and then another team takes him off their hand s and yet another team takes him, I got to believe there’s a market out there for Kyler. I think we can get something for him and maybe more. Remember we suffer from KMS.

More likely, it means that no team is interested in picking up the existing contract.

Given that Kyler controls whether he's willing to renegotiate with a proposed team, he dictates the process.

No team is going to trade assets unless Kyler expresses a willingness to join their club.

When 44-year-old grandfathers are being brought back to QB, you can rest assured that Kyler has a job waiting somewhere, and it's likely to be of his choosing.

He's grossed $170 million so far. He can afford to be selective.

Yes but they’re not giving up a draft
Pick and $50 million for the right to play as well as Phil Rivers. Russ went to the Pro Bowl the season before he was traded.
