Who are the hawks going to beat? Honestly. They may have some talent, but its raw, they may have some decent players, but no solid chemistry. Theyre young, no dominant leadership, and their frontcourt is lacking even more than ours. Who can they beat? Minnesota? Miami?

I want to see Kobe and Dirk both get traded to the Spurs for Udrih and Vaughn the day before the season starts. Then see the Spurs become the Patriots of the NBA where all analysts talk about them going undefeated all season. Then they actually do go undefeated. They make it to the west finals where the Suns absolutely destroy them. Midway through the 4th quarter the Suns take a 201 to 58 as Amare scores his 82nd point (41st dunk) on Tim Duncan prompting Kobe to spit in Duncan's face cursing him for allowing his sacred ballhogging record to be broken. This prompts a riot to break out in which the old spurs players beat the crap out of kobe and dirk.

then the suns win the series and get swept by the Hawks in the finals. (Even in insane fantasies things don't always go your way)

yeah, only because there was no one else better... so I would rather have a scrub Suns player than another scrub. He will be the first to kicked to the curb if any good player is found on the waiver wire.
