It's time to vote for the Montgomery Advertiser's boys Athlete of the Week presented by the Vance Law Firm for the week of Feb. 16-20.

This week's nominees all participated in the AHSAA basketball regional tournaments at Alabama State University and Garrett Coliseum.

Two athletes represent one school after turning impressive days shooting and crashing the boards, while the other nominees filled the stat lines well.

Voting will open Sunday, Feb. 22, and will be open until noon Thursday, Feb. 26. The winner will be announced on Friday, Feb. 27. Nominees are based off of top performers that are sent in by high school coaches or statisticians. Coaches and team stat keepers can send in stats to [email protected] to nominate players

Montgomery Advertiser's Boys Athlete of the Week nominees presented by Vance Law Firm for Feb. 16-20​

• Montgomery Academy's Mason Ellis - 21 points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Lee-Scott Academy
• Montgomery Catholic's MJ Belser - 14 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Bibb County
• Marbury's Jalen Hall - 24 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and three steals in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Central of Clay County
• Park Crossing's Lathan Lucas - 11 points, four rebounds, four steals and one assist in the AHSAA South Regional semifinal loss to Murphy
• Montgomery Academy's Jarrett Friendly - 16 rebounds, 14 points, four blocks and one assist in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Lee-Scott Academy
