It's time to vote for the Montgomery Advertiser's girls Athlete of the Week presented by the Vance Law Firm for the week of Feb. 16-20.

This week's poll is occupied by five girls basketball players that participated throughout the week in the AHSAA regional basketball tournament at Alabama State University and Garrett Coliseum.

Three of the five players scored 20 points or more in their respective semifinal game, while one managed to fill the stat line in three other statistical categories.

Voting will open Sunday, Feb. 22, and will be open until noon Thursday, Feb. 26. The winner will be announced on Friday, Feb. 27. Nominees are based off of top performers that are sent in by high school coaches or statisticians. Coaches and team stat keepers can send in stats to [email protected] to nominate players

Montgomery Advertiser's Girls Athlete of the Week nominees presented by Vance Law Firm for Feb. 16-20​

  • Park Crossing's Maliyah Meeks - 24 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block in the AHSAA South Regional semifinal win over Stanhope Elmore
  • Saint James' Natalie Barton - 18 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and six steals in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Lee-Scott Academy
  • Montgomery Catholic's Hannah Smith - 24 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal win over Bibb County
  • Trinity Presbyterian's Lilly Smith - 10 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in the AHSAA Central Regional semifinal loss to Pleasant Grove
  • Stanhope Elmore's Heaven Bailey - 20 points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds in the AHSAA South Central Regional semifinal loss to Park Crossing
