I have been thinking about that too, Harry, and I agree to an extent. However, say they bring in someone like Calvin Ridley, Braxton Jones or another WR or OT, and they don’t give up any picks in the process, doesn’t that make sense? Pick swaps seems to be the new trend among GM’s, so let’s say they swap a fourth for a sixth and said player. I could live with that.

I agree that there would still be less assets to go after a new QB, but I think you have to consider all the variables, and it would also help a potentially new QB to have talented players at key positions.

Beyond picks who are you trading? Most teams only want picks for still useful players.

There is NO WAY the Jets pass on taking a QB if they have the #1 pick. It is very possible that the #1 pick doesn't turn out to be the best QB in the Draft. Thus the term, Crap Shoot. Of course we've always been lucky so we have that going for us.

This year, more than in a long time, the first QB may not be the best.

JMO, but in the last few/couple of years the first QB selected hasn't been the best.

I don't think Tune was a bad pick. I do think they should have been able to identify that he wasn't a long term option pretty quickly and probably should have always had a Brissett level vet as a backup behind Murray.

I'd the UCLA kid draft eligible? He was pretty good at Tennessee but haven’t really seen him much this year. But they looked to have turned around their offense with Neuheisels kid calling the plays.

He's got so much off field stuff to get past though. he may not be as unlikable as Shedeur was but he's got issues. Big tall kid good arm, very mobile. RS soph and before the season hetold reporters he planned to go to the NFL after this season. I know the UCLA coaches were not thrilled with that after the drama to get him.

I know NIL is relatively a new thing but he had a contract at 2.4 million a year with Tenn Collective and literally told them I won't practice or play if you don't up my salary to 4 million per, Tenn collective said nope and he left, and got less from UCLA, about half if reports are true. He said Tenn lied to him but most think he was just mad he wanted more money and at a certain point Tenn just told him not getting a raise and honestly we don't want you here.

UCLA guys say hes been better than they feared to deal with but definitely a guy who has to overcome his reputation.

Trade Kyler to the Vikings. They are in contention and need a QB. Plus, KOC seems to like, and succeed, with reclamation projects. Daniel Jones and Darnold are prime examples.

I'm fully ready for Kyler to go to the Vikings and become MVP. It will happen and I'm okay with it.

Yeah that would be my suspicion too. My fantasy team was autodrafted but he was the 1st WR picked on my team and he's been very mediocre. I watched him parts of the last 2 games and he looks much better. Does make you wonder though there has to be some explanation.
