A lot of hate for Booker on this board tonight.

His efficiency is usually very good, but high volume shooters always have games like this.
He’s had quite a few like this recently

The frustrating part At least for me is that Booker is elite but if he would just concentrate on the game and not let the distractions and remember how good the team is when they move the ball he could take his game to another level

Devin needs to get to the point where he feels he doesn't have to shoot or always make the big shot.

It would definitely be good to see Shamet pick it up and be a consistent contributor instead of a deficit (as he has been most of the season).

It bugs me that both Ayton and Cam have a bit of uncertainty as to their future here going forward due to one (and only one) nagging reason.

He had 1 turnover and was +19 while having 9 assists.

And you didn’t really read what I wrote

He also forces up a lot of really bad shots

He may have only had one official turnover but there were several others that were really his fault in a number that were close

Again he’s a great player I just want him to elevate it even higher by being a little smarter

Pretty sure official turnovers are turnovers.

Yes he takes a couple bad shots but the criticism laid at him here is really one sided

I think what some are saying is we want Devin Booker to be more selective with his offense sort of like Chris Paul.

This is something that should be learned.

You seem sensitive to statistical facts. He’s having his least efficient season in five years. Doesn’t mean he’s not better in other areas.
You mean 3 point shooting and defense? Oh and the fact that his team is the best team in the NBA?

He's not perfect, no matter how much you want him to be.

We don't want to hear anything but Cam Johnson is fine.

Excuse me, but he has learned it. He hasn't completely abandoned some of his goofy decision making, but he's a DAMN sight better than he was his previous 5 years.

But this entire talk track is very exclusive to this board.

Booker's Per is 20. Paul's PER is 20.7

They fill very different roles but their impact is similar on the court.

And that's also why they are cancelling each other out for MVP.

We've had an 18-game win streak and are on a 9-game win streak and CLEARLY the best team in the NBA and what's the thing to do? Complain about Devin Booker scoring 27 points on 26 shots. He also shot 40% from 3. Not the best, but certainly not that bad either. We won, and we needed his points.

Honestly do you even read posts you reply to? I just said he’s improved other areas of his game while pointing out his efficiency numbers not being as good. Good grief.
