It's a violent Western. Big deal.

Why not re-make it? Remake would probably be better.

Ya, movies are so much better these days. Not.

You won't find a director as good. You won't find anyone as good as William Holden.

    To me anyways. :)

Is that more than one anyway?

William Holden can't act worth a damn. He was pretty good when he was alive though.

'American Psycho' remake being prepped by Lionsgate

Patrick Bateman will be back to menace the populace once again.

Lionsgate is working on a remake of the 2000 film "American Psycho," which was based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel of the same name, an individual with knowledge of the project confirmed to TheWrap.

No word on who will inherit the role of unhinged yuppie Bateman from Christian Bale. Lionsgate has, however, tapped Noble Jones, who served as a second unit director on 2010's "The Social Network," to pen and direct the revamp.

Really?! It's only been 11 years?! C'mon, Hollywood !! The Mila Kunis sequel wasn't bad enough? You have to remake the original ? :|

Hollywood is devoid of any originality. They take an older movie, rearrange some of the plot lines and attach the same title to it and call it a movie. Some change things totally around like in the Hitcher remake, making the protagonist a woman and a guy gets ripped in half. Others, like Friday the 13th, think they're clever when they change the plot entirely and then some, like the Stepford Wives(which I was stupid enough to see in the theater), completely crap all over the original. Theater crowds are getting smaller and smaller and Hollywood can't figure out why. Someone tell the emperor that he is indeed naked.

Such an underrated and overlooked movie. its far too early for a remake, the movie still holds up and was friggin awesome.
