And now Isak probably costing his national team WC Qualification. I feel for the rest of the Sweden squad, but what happens when you sit out all of preseason? You aren't even fit to get on the field.

Dropping Guimaraes and going to 5 at the back? I thought Howe got it right against Barca, but he's got it wrong here. Looks like a playing scared lineup. Looks like a park the bus looking for a point lineup. I know he can't win at Bournemouth, but this is a bad, scared reaction.

Good solid win and advancing in the cup. Tough draw getting Spurs, but at least they're visitors.

Man, Bruno played like Helen of Troy with her ass on fire. (this is a deep cut joke no one will get--it's a line from Rome, a show Bruno Heller co-created). What? I like bad jokes, and puns are how eye roll :)

Big time. Sold some good players (one to us!), didn't adequately replace them, and weren't prepared to also deal with Europe. Have already sacked their manager.
Yeah, their owner is an idiot. Nunes finally made them relevant! Egomaniac.

I don't know if Nuno is just unbearable, not it's crazy how he builds clubs into legitimate, consistent squads that can occasionally fight and win European spots

It's like these clubs start believing they are overachieving and that finishing mid-table is a terrible thing - like they need another decade of being a yo-yo or sweating relegation before accepting the high side of their reality

Huge CL win against Benfica. I was cursing Nick Pope and his sheer incompetence with his feet when he panicked and gave away a corner for no reason. Then...well, I'll let the video speak for itself. I couldn't find a more specific clip, so here's the highlight reel. Start at the 6:03 mark and get ready for a wild play. Wow.

It always seemed inevitable with a crazy owner that it would eventually blow up.
