while I do not necessarily like the re-write of history...with replicants winning the uprising and all...
why do I have more faith in Amazon making this a good show than I have in anything Disney does??
plus...maybe its not a re-write...maybe its decades after Decker.....?
and they went and signed Michelle Teoh....oh goody.....not often I get to see a very sexy woman in a TV show and not feel like a demented old perv...I can just be a perv in this case, age is not relevant....
if they can find a way to get Ming Na Wen into this show Imma be one happy camper...all kindsa asian fantasies going on over here....

I'm not sure why you have faith in Amazon either. They're as bad as Disney for messing up franchises and shows. They're huge on my crap list right now thanks to the Netflix idiot that they hired killing the new Stargate show.

No one has ever messed with Blade Runner more than director Ridley Scott himself.
Author Philip K. Dick wrote Deckard as human. Screenwriter Hampton Fancher wrote the character as human but was okay with leaving some room for ambiguity. Harrison Ford played the character as human.
Ridley Scott (via many interviews) considers him to be a replicant. SMH.

I'm really into cyberpunk right now, so I'm definitely in on this. The look does scream "Blade Runner", so at least the production design is spectacular. Plus, it's Michelle Yeoh, looking like a replicant villain, so I'm 100% in. If they keep the same music style as the original Vangelis score, that would be fantastic.
