Johnson has been great. But he was drafted to be their LT but couldn't handle it, so they moved him to RT. Which was obviously the right call. But if they had envisioned only as a RT on draft day, I don't think they take him at 4. Doesn't matter because it worked out but you don't typically see projected RT's going that early in the draft. Sewell has played RT only but he's probably moving to LT next season once they move on from Taylor Decker.I think I'd still rather have a good OT than Saquon. Levi Brown vs. Peterson gets brought up a lot, but that's mainly because Brown was bad and only lasted 5 years. Lane Johnson has been Right Tackle for the Eagles for 13 years now and is still their most important player.
I'm deciding now. I'm in on Francis Mauigoa.
I get it though, if they draft the Utah kid and he has a Lane Johnson type career, he's more than worthy of the 3rd pick. Same with Downs or Love. If they're great, it's a great pick but those positions aren't typically top 3 picks.
