Takeaways from #AZCardinals rookie RB Jeremiyah Love:
-"Quite literally I am a rookie. I don't know how people could take that wrong, but they did"

- on Hackett's comments - Says the biggest challenge has been the mental aspect. Says there's a big shift in IQ and athleticism from college to NFL.

-He's been able to bond with teammates and coaches. Says this is his new home and he's embracing Arizona.

- Says praise from veterans so far means the world to him.

- "Just be myself" is the best advice he's gotten so far.

- "Iron sharpens iron" when asked about Mack Wilson Sr. and his battles during 1v1's

- Says he is responsible for bringing in snacks for rookie duties.

- "I'm excited to just play in a game." on next week's preseason game. Also adds Larry being inducted is a huge honor just to play in the HOF Game.

- "I need to go out there and play" on playing in preseason. Says it's vital to his development.

- James Conner being in the room is "very important" and picks his brain for advice daily.

- Is looking forward to seeing Spiderman tonight after getting done with football stuff. Says it's important to have a balance in life.

- Likes how the Cardinals are utilizing him in the passing game. Feels like he can make a play against whoever in space. Says he needs to get better at reading coverages.

- "It's been easy for me, honestly" in terms of adjusting the NFL life. Living the dream. Doesn't mind the heat.

LaFleur wants to use Michael Wilson to create confusion for opposing defenses, per
@theo_mackie

“On one play last week, Wilson took a surprise handoff on a jet motion. On one play this week, he aligned at TE in a heavy formation. He was used as a run blocker, but it’s not hard to envision how that could marry up with a play-action look that springs Wilson for a big gain.”

Marvin Harrison Jr. has had more targets in training camp than Michael Wilson (so far), per
@theo_mackie

“Harrison is typically the lone WR on the field when the Cardinals are in 3 TE sets. And Harrison has earned more targets than Wilson so far, with 17 to Wilson’s 12.”

Apparently MHJ had the best training camp day of his career. Wide open all day, no drops.

Breakout loading....

Please god let him transform into an unstoppable force of nature that terrorizes opposing defenses!

Come on Marv! Let’s shake em up baby!

How exactly has he earned more targets?

By being a 1st round pick?
