Glad he's apparently healthy but I still don't see much role for him unless they use him returning kickoffs.

He can't be the 3rd down RB because Love is the better receiver, Allgeir and Conner will be short yardage and goalline RB's so his role is going to be limited
disagree...Love is not the "better" reciever...we are blessed with 4 Rb's who all catch the ball very well...thats a champagne problem...for third down back the deciding factor is more likely to be blocking..and again, while we are blessed there too...I have heard Love has blown a couple blocks in camp so far...so Benson may have the edge in that regard as he blocks quite well.

as a fan...I wouldnt put too much thought into what JC will be doing this season...because unless this staff really feels they need leadership in the room he isnt going to be on the roster...and then again...Love has strong leadership skills...just not Vet leadership...but Algieir can bring that.

Would kill to have Ronnie Mac on this roster!
right?? Dude was a very limited player physically... but had enough heart to carry a defense... based on how our squad performed last season they could sorely use a guy with that type of energy.
I mean...would prefer that energy and Ray Lewis play.... but you take what you can get, right?

Who knows but I think when Brissett was asked about Love as a receiver and he said something like "I can see why we paid him 50 million dollars" I think he's assuming Love is going to be the primary guy catching the ball out of the backfield.

Yes there's been reports of missed blocks by Love in camp, that's totally normal for a rookie, Benson had the same issue then as has basically every young RB we've had. But everyone is talking about what a good receiver Love is, I assume they intend to use that

I am a Benson fan maybe his biggest one on the board right now but when we took Love his role on the team shifted. If we don't draft love, Benson is likely the 3rd down RB.

#AZCardinals HC Mike LaFleur ahead of Friday’s practice: - Not concerned about expectations surrounding Love. Just wants him to improve every day.

- “Not one RB can take all 65 snaps.” Wants to split things up in the room.

- Says team still has a lot of work to do in terms of being physically ready but liked two minute drill earlier this week.

- Says in terms of install sometimes training camp is tougher because during a regular game week the game plan is pretty tight whereas camp is more open.

- Very excited for preseason but still prioritizing training camp.

- Still too early to crown players as risers or fallers a week into training camp.

-Thinks Kendrick Bourne has some of the best hands in the league.

- Likes what they’ve seen out of both Isaiah Adams and Chase Bisontis at right guard. Personally, I think he talked a bit more glowingly about Adams and his consistency

- “it might be ordinary but we better do that extraordinary” on ball security.

Like hearing this

Bourne with the good hands can be a go to option when you are first

As weak as we have been at guard it's nice to hear 2 guys are looking good
