The Jets are going to be reasonably capable, IMO. The Dolphins won't be. The issue at hand is that the Jets and Dolphins get to play each other twice.

We're not that bad of a team, but our schedule is absolutely killer.

Yes, but the situation is dramatically different than it was when Eli was coming out (and Eli insists his dad didn't completely alter that process).

NIL would be the real factor, if he just decides he doesn't like any of the teams picking high in the process. The guy has plenty of eligibility left.

i think brissett counted on his team having his back - that and i think brissett counted on beck/minshew not being able to do what he can do - two very logical gambles but gambles none the less

monti tho - i think he's getting typecast as a cheap ass - lowballing both mcbride and brissett - our two best assets on offense (as far as working together goes)

brissett didn't just lose a ish ton of games - he actually learned his teammates and got them the ball in ways kyler never could - that's why he's getting 15 million

brissett isn't the future - monti's made that clear - but what's monti gonna do when wilson joins mcbride at the probowl - what's monti gonna do if love is in the running for rookie of the year - what's monti gonna do when we aren't drafting top 5 in next year's sacred qb harvest?

what's monti gonna do when brissett throws for over 3,500 yards and becomes a free agent while screwing our chances at drafting one of the top two quarterbacks?

good luck with that vato - if it took monti 3 months to pay brissett 15 million how long will it take to him to pony up 60 million for another 2 years?

In this scenario not a snowballs chance in hell.

Coaches and GMs turn down the PV Hillbillies, Arch would force a trade and it might not even need to be the number one pick for it to happen.

Far be it from me to argue with an hippies, but I’d argue that Brissett is pretty far down the list of offensive assets. McBride, Wilson, Love, MHJ, PJJ, Seumalo, Froholdt.
