I mentioned it the other day we're told Momcilovic is likely going to Kentucky and he's going to get some crazy amount in the 6-8 million range.

This NIL has gotten absurd, UCLA was waiting on Tounde Yessefou, who admittedly we tampered with before he got into the portal. Last week rumors surfaced if he came out of the draft he may pick St Johns. ANd of course last night he pulled out of the draft and committed to SJ. Why? Because SJ recruited his girlfriend, from LA, dating since HS, who's not even a D1 athlete! And they were not the only school doing so Louisville and Baylor were talking to her too. I assume UCLA did too she's local, but allegedly part of his deal with SJ is he can use his NIL money to pay his GF's out of state tuition fees to attend SJ.

Momcilovic is a great shooter, would be a great pickup but again we were told Kentucky was a virtual done deal some booster was willing to kick in a massive amount to get him
.
Momcilovic is going to break the 1-year NIL record and he’s nothing more than a sharp-shooter. His agent is smart to bid Kentucky & Louisville against eachother.

Meanwhile if Koa ends up in the 2nd rd with a non-guaranteed contract he should fire Klutch. The fact they tried changing his shot into what we saw is damn near malfeasance.

Nobody knows but the claim now is Yessefou got 7 million from St Johns. Apparently because they don't have a football team their revenue share can go more to basketball. They get 20.5 most schools have to split that among sports including football so the booster becomes important in NIL. With SJ they don't have football but get the same amount so they can put more to NIL for basketball. that's big because technically these massive NIL deals have to be approved by the NCAA, but the revenue share part doesn't.

Momcilovic is getting more than Yessefou, Able allegedly got 5.5 to 6 from UNC who claims their entire NIL budget is 14.

So what you're going to see now is anybody like UCLA or UA if they presumably don't get Momcilovic are going to try and land a late Euro kid or try and convince a 5 star 2027 kid to reclassify and come in this year.

NIL is out of control

Colorado judge just did an injunction so right now every kid from class of 2022 that used all his eligibility on paper has 1 more year. That includes Godfrey

Some Arizona men's basketball roster/staff updates:

Joaquin Rigdon, 6-4 guard from California, has joined the team as a walk-on. He is the son of ex-UA guard Dylan Rigdon, who played here from 1992-94.

Evan Nelson is one of 3 graduate assistants

NEWS: Clemson transfer RJ Godfrey will commit to Arizona, per
@KevoPosts
.The 6-8 forward averaged 12.0 PPG, 5.3 RPG and shot 61.1% from the field.He was recently granted a 5th year of eligibility due to a court ruling
.
Hypothetically, if the season started today he’d be eligible but the NCAA will likely appeal the injunction then it’s another lawsuit. Long way to go but these guys are expected to ultimately be eligible
