Did anybody else notice this? When the Cards scored their last TD but New England had a penalty during the play. The penalty was enforced on the kickoff which I believe the kickoff was at the 50 now. Instead of doing a pooch kick and trying to pin New England behind the 25 the Cards kicked it out of the back of the endzone resulting in NE starting at the 25. To me it was a blunder to not try to pin them back farther. May not have matter with the way the D played though.

Every post about special teams - I'm going to reply that I think our ST coach is just a piece of wood carved to look like a man.

All ST plays consist of the following:

Kick it far or through the goal posts.
Run down and tackle or catch it and run.

*Coaching is complete*

It just shows you the lack of confidence the coaches have in the cover teams.

I noticed that as well. The penalty is basically meaningless.

Yeah, should've had Butler punt the ball from midfield, he could have gotten it down inside the 20... oh wait!!

or Cat's ability to do anything outside kicking inside 45 yard field goals.

or a combo of both.

I promise you there is a better punter working at Walmart in the Phoenix area.
