Seem to recall much the same said about a DT (Alan Branch) who some years ago left AZ for Seattle and later signed with New England where he picked up a ring.

C'mon man. Branch was a mediocre player and bounced around with Seattle and Buffalo before being a system piece for BB. Yes he got a ring but so did Michael Floyd.

Maybe the new staff studied film and came to the conclusion there are other free agents out there that fit our new scheme better.

The point is that he could have been a piece going forward and we let him go.

And let's not compare Branch's contribution to New England with that of Floyd.
