i don't know what we just saw - it all started out so well - murray and marvelous - the run game - our defense showed up late but got at it before whatever that was happened - i still dont know wtf but it was contagious - and effected both sides of the ball

it wasn't even cardiac it was expected - it's become so normalized we were laughing - nobody broke their tv - i do feel bad for those who attended the game and i wouldn't blame them if they never went to another - tennessee was literally 0-10 and won on the road

petzing started regressing as soon as we hit 21 points - decided to coast and work on some things - then hernandez went down - then tip and all while simmons was going nuts - justin frye needs to go when petzing does 100%

on defense - im tired of saying it and you're tired of saying it - this faux man front bend and eventually break defense makes superstars out of unrefined talent - you can hear their voice drop during the game - their balls too - we make men out of immature hopefuls

whatever it is - it all happened on gannons watch - i don't think there's any coming back from this - our division opponents definitely aren't losing to tennessee not to mention they haven't lost to us

petzing shouldn't be here next week - and that's being kind - if monti likes the no humidity and year round golf he might want to clean house - all staff and kyler too - it's tank time baby - id give the archie kid a shot at this point (that's a joke 602)

this is the worst loss i can think of in recent history - in year 3 of a rebuild with a #1 draft pick at the helm - blow it all up - the toaster too - play at the suns stadium - you won't need 63,000 seats for years

a lot of fans are going to check out - maybe permanently lol - me - im just not going to wear my cardinals gear tomorrow which is going to freak my friends and family out - because i ALWAYS wear cardinals gear the day after win or lose
I blame this all on you for the “murder” chatter.

We had 10 days to prepare for the worst team in the league that its rookie QB a couple days earlier called itself ASS.

And lost in the most comical of ways.

To steal/mangle a quote from the late, great Logan Roy:

I love you, Arizona Cardinals, but you are not serious people.

It’s the NFL where conservative gets your ass beat!!!
In addition to the complete absence of young Pro Bowl and All Pro players on the roster, this encapsulates why the fantasy of the Cardinals following in the footsteps of the Lions' rebuild has not come remotely close to materializing.

The Lions play aggressively to win. The Cards play passively not to lose, without much success.

Michael Carter had 23 touches and the same amount of targets as MHJ today. The focal point of our offense didn't even make the final 53 a month and a half ago. That doesn't make any sense.
Just another line on the long list of incompetence for this coaching staff.

Interesting tidbit

Will Hernandez made his impact felt

One key turning point in the game: right guard Will Hernandez hitting his snap limit.

Per the CBS broadcast, the Cardinals entered the day planning to use Hernandez in a limited fashion, as he made his return after missing a year with a torn ACL.

On the four drives he played, the Cardinals averaged 7.9 yards per play and scored 21 points. For the rest of the game, the Cardinals averaged 4.5 yards per play and scored 0 points.

Great! We signed a guy who can maybe play the whole game by midseason...when the season is already effectively over. Great job, Monti!

I can't. I'm out on this roster. We need some major coaching and roster changes. This roster is not well constructed and is not well-coached.

That run play on 3rd and 8 at the end was my breakpoint. There's no world where that is the play I would call.
I agree. Pass the ball to get the first down. If they get it then they may run out the clock or at least get it under 1 minute.
