We're not as terrible as I initially thought as our losses came down to the last seconds. The offense needs to get in rhythm earlier so it doesn't have to come down to the late 4th quarter. Not sure if it's DP or KM's fault but this bumbling offense needs to get their heads out of their asses.

Benson is nothing.
I know the sky is falling right now, but to say Benson is nothing means that either you aren't paying attention, or you are biased somehow. It's clearly not the case.

Now if you gave that label to Robinson, I'd agree with you.

would've liked to see benson get a conner amount of carries last night - maybe next time

Robinson is beyond nothing. Benson is replacement level. if he ever learned to stop dancing, he might have something, but i'll believe that when I see it. it's usually a hard trait to break free of.

I don't think Melton was that bad. There is no corner in the league that can shut down Njigba all game.

Melton is supposed to be our #2 or #3 corner - to me I actually thought he did better than I was expecting.

Benson was exactly the same as he has always been. He cannot run between the tackles for squat, but if he gets some space he can make big plays. He seems more like a complementary back than a lead one.
Melton has been terrible and PFF agrees. He was leagues worse than SMB last year and it hasn't improved. We were able to zone JSN out of the game for the most part, the one time we trusted Max to cover him one on one he got burnt hard.

If Sterling Thomas and SMB were healthy Max would be getting 20% of the snaps at most.

Our wins against two rather bad teams came down to the last seconds though.

I still say the biggest problem this team has is its bald headed OC!!!

Conservative, scared football doesn’t win consistently in this league. And yes that falls on the HC as well & how he wants his team to play each week.
I think the offense is designed to compensate for K1s shortcomings. If Josh Allen or Lamar were our QB you think we'd still be running this type of offense? I don't.

I don’t care who the QB or OC is.

This team needs a damn speedster at WR.
So Kyler can underthrow him when he beats his man deep, allowing a safety to get there and make it a contested catch that gets knocked to the turf? Fun!

Does that make the statement less true?
He thinks I’m absolving Kyler of blame.

I’ve been screaming this since the offseason, we need a speedster since the offseason. It helps all the WRs underneath & McBride. I don’t care who the next QB or OC will be.

You guys are so engulfed in Kyler slander that if one isn’t posting “Kyler sucks, Kyler sucks, Kyler sucks” 24/7, you think a guy is protecting him.

Oh I never accused you of protecting him.
I don't hate the guy..I'm just out on him...but i occasionally get drawn in by some people's delusions about what he can be.
