In addition to the complete absence of young Pro Bowl and All Pro players on the roster, this encapsulates why the fantasy of the Cardinals following in the footsteps of the Lions' rebuild has not come remotely close to materializing.

Lol… I still can’t believe people were comparing us to the Lions or even Niners rebuilding.

I want to apologize to everyone. This loss might be on me.

Last week one of my friends who moved to Florida several years ago happened to be in town on work. My wife and I hosted a party for him so he could reconnect with all of our old friends. During the party one of my friends asked me what I thought of the Cardinals team this season. At that point I think I might have opened a portal for the ghost of Denny Green to enter this dimension.

Instead of answering his question right away I realized something and immediately brought it up. I asked "Hey weren't you the crew that I brought to that Monday Night Meltdown game against the Bears". Sure enough all 4 guys that I had brought to that game were there and confirmed it. We all had a good laugh at how horrible that game ended and our shock at how that game ended. I'm guessing at that time is when the ghost of Denny Green slipped into our dimension.

The rest is history!

I'm sorry everyone!

This right here is why Monti and Gannon and all coaches should hang their heads in shame.

Our staff is the anti-lions staff.
this is so true

3rd and 8. get a first down and the game is effectively over. 2:15 or so left, so an incomplete pass only "costs" the clock maybe 7 seconds or so vs a run.

playcall? run.

I dont know the analytics, but the odds of converting there with that playcall are like maybe 5%? I just dont understand the give up call there. I know Gannon was asked about it post game, but shouldnt the media hammer him on this?
