Binged watched this over the weekend - really good.

it was solid, but the DEA guy was an absolute pill of a character and his incessant on the nose voice-over was pretty awful/distracting. If his character had been remotely interesting, this would have been really good. Everything with Escobar and the politicians/cops on the Colombian side were great.

I binged watched this last week and really liked it. Escobar was nails, and the kind of documentary vibe that went along with it was pretty cool.

Binged watched this as well over the weekend. Really enjoyed it. I especially love the infusion of real pictures & footage of Escobar and other events peppered throughout the show.

I'm anxious for season 2 and trying my damndest to not hit up wikipedia and go down that rabbit hole and spoil the show.

they still have to find Escobar and the drug trade obviously didn't end with him. My guess is they go next after the Black Widow, another massively powerful member of the drug trade and part of the Medeillin cartel.

How the story plays out is pretty well known but the show is very well done.

I think I've got 2 episodes to go but I got side tracked because I was traveling so I'll prolly go a couple episodes back and re-watch them to start again. Really like this series. Even though the story is well known, the actors and script make it very believable and not some cheesie soap opera, it's pretty gritty.

My wife's complaint is the subtitles are very hard to see in the yellow color. I don't have as much problem because my Spanish is passable and I understand a lot of it anyway.

Really happy they're renewing it!!

Season 2 is great so far. I'm on episode 5 and its been pretty good!

eight episodes in, Season 2 has blown away season 1. Less focus on the white dude, more on the Cali Cartel/Los Pepes alliance has been awesome.

man, the last two episodes were a bit of a letdown, but still a much better season then the first.
