I saw another picture (from here or another sight? Don't remember where) comparing him to that one guy from Guardians of the Galaxy, I think it was.

agree...not a consolation prize.

My main concern is the little brother syndrome. Mikes career path indicates nepotism played a large part in getting him opportunities in the NFL...and life experience has shown me that younger brothers are rarely as good at the chosen profession of their older brother... Harbaughs seem to be an exception..
I mean, just look at Peyton and Eli..if you were building a team....how many folks would really choose Eli over Peyton to lead their new team?...Technically, yeah, they both have the same number of rings...but anyone with functional eyes and multiple brain cells can see Peyton is a far superior QB.
But guys who learn under McVey tend to shine. So, lets hope Mike was paying attention while he was in L.A.
By your logic you prefer cooper manning over Peyton because he was the oldest.

Birth order has nothing to do with anything. And I say that as a firstborn who is clearly superior at everything to cheese and brothers-who-shall-not-post.

ML is 38
JG was 40
KK was 40
SW was 49
BA was 61

Our coaches are slowly getting younger after making BA the oldest first time head coach at the time!

For all the amateur GM's who don't want KM back as QB, let us know who you do want. And, try not to say, "Get a Brock Purdy or Tom Brady" in the 6th or 7th round and hope we get lucky.
Do I HAVE to know what I want when Im sure I know what I dont? I just know I cant watch that pouty face lead our offense anymore. I just cant.

Reminds me of a scene when she says "I know what i've had", or something like that.

Yesterday, with the head coach hiring cycle complete, The Athletic published an article, "NFL insiders rank head coach hires". They "asked a panel of nine coaches and executives to rank their top-five head-coaching hires of the cycle. Coaches received five points for a first-place vote, four points for a second-place vote, three points for a third-place vote, two points for a fourth-place vote and one point for a fifth-place vote. Voters are not employed by any of the 10 teams that just hired a new head coach."

Here's how it shook out:
1. John Harbaugh, New York Giants (42 points, 6 first-place votes)
2. Kevin Stefanski, Atlanta Falcons (25 points, 1 first-place vote)
3. Jesse Minter, Baltimore Ravens (24 points, 1 first-place vote)
4. Mike McCarthy, Pittsburgh Steelers (13 points)
5. Jeff Hafley, Miami Dolphins (9 points)
(tie) 6. Klint Kubiak, Las Vegas Raiders (7 points)
(tie) 6. Robert Saleh, Tennessee Titans (7 points)
8. Joe Brady, Buffalo Bills (6 points, 1 first-place vote)
(tie) 9. Mike LaFleur, Arizona Cardinals, and Todd Monken, Cleveland Browns (0 points)

"There’s just too much unknown with Monken, LaFleur and their respective organizations. Both are first-time, offensive-minded NFL head coaches coming from successful teams, and they’re joining two franchises that are perpetually rebuilding.

Without enough of a track record for the coaches and the organizations’ instability, it’s understandable why our panel took a wait-and-see approach with these hires."

I guess Brady, Minter, Kubiak and Hafley are known commodities? Some of these silly grading reports these folks put out are just that, silly.

Agreed! This information is as useful as draft grades that are released immediately after the draft.
