Here is a summary of the Cardinals 53 man roster.

This 53 man roster will obviously change in the next couple of days.

I wouldn't feel too comfortable if I'm Joey Blount, Xavier Thomas, Josh Fryar, Bam Knight. These guys are still on the bubble IMO.

Called Jones and Conner to IR. Justin Jones will go to IR instead of being cut. So missed that.

Hernandez activated as I guessed, while Nolen and BJ stays on PUP. Bilal too, but I expected an injury settlement.

5 of 7 right.. Glad I was laughed at for this prediction.

Bilal and BJ still not clear.
Who laughed? I was in that discussion and do not remember anyone laughing.

But kudos. I did not believe Hernandez was ready to be active.

Agree. Still, it's a step closer.

Ahh. That is just K9 needing to be right, but has zero arguments for it.
You mean like your phantom “fake injury” for Conner comment… or how about the hot “many people are saying” take that Nolen was looking good and probably back to practice this week to be ready for Game 1?

you and K9 are basically bizarro versions of each other. It’s kinda comical.

My phantom comment?

I quoted a podcast with media access to closed practices. I named the single source.

Was not aware that a wrong evaluation from a named media was my responsibility, but okay…You must feel strong about my responsibility when you have to make up stuff to blame me :)

EDIT: Didn’t respond to the Connor comment. He landed on IR, didn’t he? His injury probably couldn’t justify out for the season IR under the rules. Do you want to bet $100 that Connor’s injury for some reason never heals probably and he’s never activated unless there are a multitude of injuries on the interior OL?

North of the 49th.
Don't forget folks, the bottom 4-5 players will change over the next 3 days.

We aren't keeping 5 S and only 5 WR and Brewer will be back. Blount will end to on the PS I suspect.

We are 16th on the waiver claims. I doubt we will find much that could replace anyone on the present 53.

Special teams coach, Rogers, also has a say on the roster.

Blount and Pappoe are his boys. IMO.

Valid, unfortunately.

Pappoe still being there surprises me. I am sure 2-3 guys will end up not making it at the end.

I think Bam is safe because if they wanted a different player, they would just have added them to the roster. And I doubt they would only carry 3 RBs.

But Chris Jones, Nolen and BJ will return to the roster.

Connor could be another Elijah Jones, where it’s basicly a red shirt year.

Justin Jones. Not sure if he’s coming back or cut at this time. Given the move to cut Brewer, so Jones can be put on IR, would indicate that they actually expect him to be back playing this year. If they are only keeping him for cap reasons they could have put him on the IR - out for the year.

Players need to go to make room for them.

Likewise.

Could it be to keep him until Simon is more ready and then he’s gone when players come back from IR? It would buy 6 weeks for Simon to learn

What I don't get is using a spot for Vokolek, the 4th TE.

I guess it's because of the offensive scheme, or maybe he's good on ST? But I think I might have gone with another CB.
I assume both and he’s IMO a better player.

He played very well against 2nd stringers (relatively). Far better than what we saw from any CB7 or lower.
