In the Arizona Cardinals' 20-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, 24 players participated in at least one of the 70 defensive snaps and 44 played at least one of the 28 special teams snaps.
How was that playing time split up? Below are the individual snap counts for every player who got into the game defensively, grouped by position, and every player who played on special teams.
The first number after each name are the snaps. The second is the percentage. Players in bold were starters.
Barrs had a solid game and could land on the practice squad. He had three solo tackles with one for loss, plus a sack and quarterback hit. On only 14 snaps, Mustipher had three tackles (one solo). Goodlow assisted on three tackles, had a half-sack and two QB hits. Jenkins had two solo tackles.
Walker was the team leader with seven tackles (six solo) and added a half-sack and one QB hit. Thomas had five tackles (three solo/two for loss), two sacks, five QB hits and a fumble recovery. He might have had another sack on the final play of the game, but Raiders left tackle Parker Clement took him to the ground with a blatant arm around the neck, but holding wasn’t flagged. It left Thomas briefly shaken up.
Pappoe also had five tackles (two solo). Jones had four tackles (three solo) and a pass defensed. Simon had three tackles (one solo). Burch had two solo tackles with both for loss, one sack and a forced fumble.
Hall and Burke each had four tackles (two solo). Hall added a pass defensed, while Burke was called for a questionable pass-interference penalty and although he had good coverage, couldn’t stop the Raiders’ only touchdown. Clark, Robinson and Blount all had three tackles (one solo), while Clark had a pass defensed.
Elijah and Jaylon Jones each had two tackles (one solo). Elijah had two passes defensed, while Jaylon had one. Jaylon also left the game with a towel on his face after being hit in the nose and was being evaluated for a concussion.
The Cardinals had 10 solo tackles on special teams, thanks to all seven punts being returned and three kickoffs. Fehoko and Simon led with two. Those with one were Walker, Thomas, Clark, Robinson, Demercado and Palmer.
Gillikin averaged 48.4 yards on seven punts with a 44.0 net. Ryland had field goals of 23 and 30 yards. Weaver had a 15-yard punt return. Dallas had kickoff returns of 27 and 30 yards, while Knight also had one for 27 yards.
