Just last year? As Chris Carter would say "come on man"!Same; it was painful watching him suck last year.

The human sand clock. Sooooo slooooowwwww.
ok
I officially declare the Browns insane
I like Jim Dray. he is a journeyman player in the most positive sense of the word: hard working, dependable, etc
but it just seems like those guys are Vet minimum type players who you keep around for four years and you are glad you did --
not nearly $2 mm a year. oh well.

Watched quite a few Texas Tech games and watched Jace Amaro line up a whole bunch in the slot. Impossible to cover. Could see something similar for Housler. He might be a huge mismatch in the slot.
The more you keep Housler away from playing a traditional TE role, the better. He's an oversized WR, and has been so close to breaking big plays in the past, but didn't due to primarly poor QB play or a few drops here and there.
For Jim Dray?3 year deal with Cleveland worth 5.6m and 2.25m guaranteed

Good luck, Jimmy. Lots of haters here (for some reason--dude was a 7th round pick who mainly excelled on special teams--it's not his fault that he outplayed Rob Housler), but you kept your head down, worked hard, and earned a big second contract.
This is--honestly--what we should want for all our pending free agents. A contract like that may earn us a compensatory pick.
