Paraphrasing the Honey Badger "It's not about money. It's about winning." Then he takes less money to go to a team which won fewer games just last season. Could have stayed in Arizona for more money, more years, and realistically more wins. SMH.

fudge him. Bitching about not taking a pay cut, to trying to work out a new deal, Cards offering a pay cut somewhere around $8mil, to him saying no and forcing the Cards to release him. Then talking poo about wanting to play where defense and football matter, to signing a 1 year prove it deal that max's out at $7 mil with incentives.

Maybe. There isn't a softer division than the one he is in...

Not happy about this, I own a Badger jersey. But his play was average at best last year, he played to prove he could make it through a year. In the long run probably better he moved on, we probably would have overpaid at 8M.

Doesn't make sense to take less then what he was offered here after the pay cut. Did he not like the new coaches?

just seems so senseless that he's not a card. they were willing to pay more than he got. makes no sense man.

Good for him - what sticks in my craw is all the gratitude he stated after cardinals gave him a chance, when others would not. WE overpaid to keep him and he chose to leave in free agency- hope he keeps his head on straight

ESPN said base salary is 7 mil - may have incentives to make more ? Regardless - it is his choice and I respect it.

Money Badger got butt hurt, which is no surprise. Pride cometh before the fall--or reduced paycheck.

Pretty much. It's a pride and an ego thing. He views himself as a star and he got a reality check
