so glad not to be posting one of the post game overreaction threads - it wasn't pretty at times - the o-line looks lousy - defense overhyped but kyler did his freakin thing if you ask me - less panic and no turnovers while under duress - not the perfect game but far from anyhthing resembling blame - stayed in collapsing pockets - scrambled for firsts - beautiful deep ball to marvelous and didn't have to depend on a well attended mcbride - my first game ball goes to kyler murray

the saints needed the td at the end because mack tipped a pass and stills stopped a run forcing them to fg and ending the previous drive - both get game balls

benson and johnson - my guys to watch this year get game balls - wj got robbed and benson took off - marvelous also gets a game ball and I believe he wipes his ass with that other nickname this season

study hall - entire o-line - i posted a thread in surprise praising their ranking rise but only to my demise - stink city - i got swap meet knock off raybans that block better than that

the entire overhyped under performing pacifist ass pathetic g-rated d-line - and their nonexistent pass rush - congratulations - you made rattler look like steve young - my wife grows flowers that are more violent

That is the best that can be said, for sure. This was an ass game. There were a few ups, for sure, but some pretty big negatives. D isn't as advertised. IOL sucked balls (was it 4 or 5 penalties?). QB up and down. Not nearly good enough from ILBer. Just ugh.

Benson made a big difference you saw the speed on the big run and he was in there quite a bit.

MHJ IMO looks better, great catch on the deep ball. TD, had another potential big play that Kyler overthrew high.

The OL has to play better.

I posted in the 2025 bold prediction post that benson would end the season with more yards than Conner. If he keeps playing like he did today he might force the team to give him more carrier early.

Yep! Week 1 was today & has always been a liar. Not a pretty win, but our 1st opening day win since 2021. Are the Cardinals overhyped? Are the Saints better than thought? We’ll find out soon enough. For my overall heart health, I’m just glad it’s over & we’re 1-0 lol.

K1 missed an obvious pass attempt and should be flogged.

We will be trounced by good teams this year if we continue to block and rush the passer like this.
