I hadn’t notice those two points explicitly, but it was obvious with us turtling with leads. That IS craptastic. That’s on the coaching in part, and Kyler getting worse as games get close in part.
yessir - idc if fro declares - lines up wide out and catches the td - if he did that in the 4th quarter id buy his jersey

Why is there this obsession with WRs vs. TEs? Who cares?

Higgins was used as a WR on his 2 catches. We have arguably the best TE in the game. Why does it matter where the production comes from on the intermediate routes.

I'm concerned about the deep passing game and the quick routes when defenses stack the box. We finally saw some play designs to fix the latter yesterday - Higgins, Dortch and the screen to Wilson that got called back.
Because the Cardinals drafted a WR #4 overall and then decide not to use him. Seems pretty dumb.

It's somewhat interesting that our coaching staff was far more aggressive in the first year than the last 2. It's just more of the same passive/boring game plan every week now.

I'm dreading the injury list for this game. How much of the change in the D was a result of in-game adjustments to D players going down and how much was a planned decision should the Cards have a lead? If it was in-game adjustment---look for more of the same vanilla D and 4 man rush until to subs get up to par with the game plan.

During training camp, I believe the players were grouped according to whether they were starters or backups. The starters were on one field, the backups on the other. Did we come up short on being able to plug in guys as injury added up?

We got our DBs banging into one another and taking each other out. Tell them it is the guys in the other jerseys who get the hard hits.

The defense played well until we went to the no prevent defense. It was littoral pitch and catch for 10 yards each completion. It didn't help that the offense only had the ball for 34 seconds in the 4th quarter.
Please stop posting things like this it is so depressing.

game plan early was to attack the middle of the field through the air - wilson's first td got called back - i mentioned in the game thread the 34 yards on the pass interference wouldn't make the stat sheet but tbh that was a crappy pass anyway - we got lucky

idc who the ball is going to as long as it's not the other team and those middle passes were for 10+ yards - in the air - if petzing couldn't have tip as a blocker he'd use higgins as a receiver - tight ends are receivers too - anyone who catches the ball actually but i digress

who caught the ball doesn't bother me - when kyler stops playing top level football when we need him most - that's what bothers me - everything else is usually situational but that one knock remains consistent and continued yesterday forcing us to rely on a 4 man front that was trying to front as if they were the eagles... so frustrating

how many points have we scored in the 4th quarter thru 2 close games?

O points in the 4th quarter against the saints

O points in the 4th quarter against the panthers

THIS MY RED FEATHERED FRIENDS IS CRAP

we scored 3 pts in the 3rd quarter against the saints and 7 against the panthers for a grand total of 10 second half points in two excruciatingly close games - because kyler murray made them that way
You were so close to makeing a good post.

Then you crashed the plane on landing. K1 had the ball for less than a minute in the 4 quarter after the pick.

We have spent high end capital on a WR we don't use.
We have spent high end capital on DR who seems to be completely a dud.
We have spent high end capital on Paris J who is good but we could have had Will Anderson.

How much more captial next draft should we spend on meh to terrible players or ones we don't use?

MO is starting to have some serious issues here.

Oh buddy - you should look at how long the drives were for the Panthers offense. One drive was 93 yards long then add in a onsides. I guess K1 had a lot to do with those.

Oh noes a tipped ball which K1 has rarely done to him despite people thinking otherwise.

you can't complain about murray not having the ball when he throws it to the other team - well - you can - but anybody who doesn't have a kyler murray shrine...

I already said after the pick so again whos at fault for not being able to stop a crap Panthers squad?
Also the lovely onsides again is so laughable now that it should be impossible for the other team to get one.

But hey blowing a 24 point lead is the QBs fault.

Are you still high from yesterday because it seems like it.

This kind of crap just infuriates me.

We will never know if the dude is generational or not based on these few targets.
I am not sure how much of this is on the OC and how much is on Kyler. It is frustrating either way.
