The one player I really love in this draft, but won’t be there is Charles Cross OT from Miss State. Rock solid day 1 starter.

3 players I really like who may be there at #23 are:
1. Jermaine Johnson
2. Kenyon Green
3. Treylon Burks

3 players I would steer clear of:
1. Logan Hall-Keim type of pick.
2. Derek Stingley Jr.-Keim type of pick.
3. Trent McDuffie-Another slot corner aka Byron Murphy.

What is this actually based off of just off the fact you probably liked the guy coming out of college 5 years ago & can’t come to conclusion that he himself sucks?
I would just argue that he was drafted highly due to his work with our OL coach in college, he will be cheap, and he is still young. I don't know that it is a solution, but it is a cheap, buy-low option that reunites him with a coach he has previously had success under.

I want either edge, wr, or OL.

I could live with Travon Walker. Maybe sign Derek Barnett too if he comes at a reasonable rate.

Chris Olave is my guy if I'm picking a WR. Great hands, great YAC.

Kenyon Green or Linderbaum are the OL I'm looking at.

as an aside, Cooper Kupp just turned in a MVP level performance playing mostly out of the slot

i think having three high level corners would be a good thing

Im just too spooked by Cooper to draft a guard in the 1st...even the late 1st.

There are going to be Edge, CB, and WR there at 23 that could fill a major, expensive need.

What about Jamaree Salyer from Georgia in the 2nd round. He could be a great OG

If we were spooked by bad 1st round picks at a position we could never draft anyone... ;)

I think I said the same last year. I'll say it again probably every year with the Cards.

I wouldn't mind drafting trenches every round. We simply don't put enough draft stock into either side and that's why we have no young talent there at all.

Keim's history is just awful in this area.

Josh Jones 3rd
Zach Allen 3rd
Mason Cole 3rd
Nkemdiche 1st
Hump 1st
Golden 2nd
Martin 3rd
Cooper 1st

That's just awful in 9 drafts.
