Why would they pull him in that game if he isn't getting called up till Sept?

And it was announced that when Shelby Miller comes back, he will pitch out of the bullpen for the rest of the season. 'Glad to see they are not holding a starting spot open for him.

The only other reason I can think of for pulling him and the most reasonable , is that he is on a strict pitch count . He has had past injury issues and just came off the DL.

I didn’t mean MLB now, is August. Maybe he goes to AAA but gets added to ML roster when they expand in September.

I guess the positive is for the most part there isn’t anyone teams want for big trades so ARZ has no choice but to develop what they have and won’t give away guys like they did in the past.
