When rookies get injured to start their careers, they normally have a hard time coming back and catching up. We saw this with Jonathan Cooper and now Robinson. I'm scared about what Nolan's gonna look like once he's healed

The best thing he did all day was not get Jacobs until after he scored to give us more time. And I don't think that was intentional I think he was trying to stop him

It feels like we put no effort in who we draft in the 1st round and listen to Mel Kiper instead and put all effort into later round guys instead. We got lucky that PJJ is legit. MHJ is a disappointment, but not a bust. Robinson is a bust. Nolen can't get on the field. Uggg

Not holding by breathe with Nolan. It’s likely he makes zero impact as well.

Jacobs literally carried him into the end zone. It would’ve been fine if he was intentionally allowing Jacobs to score, but he wasn’t. Our first rounder pick is incapable of stopping a RB when in a 1:1 situation…

Robinson went about where he was projected to go. The problem is Dline guys in late round 1 often fail to be impact players. He’s mediocre at best. I assume his injuries are behind him. If not he shouldn’t be out there.

I'd just not pick an Edge late round 1 to convert to iDL.

Monties worse pick by far.

Agree. He doesn't have the lower body strength to play iDL. Looks like he's running into a brick wall when he makes contact. No push.

if sweat is messed up we might see more d-rob at edge - pass rush is one thing but he'll have to hold the edge at times as well

anyone know what was up with sweat specifically

So many on this board sucking off Stills when he was less visible in this game than DRob despite playing almost twice as many snaps.

I get the disappointment with the impact in relation to draft status, but ultimately, DRob isn't a "problem".

Dude plays hard. Can eat snaps when he is healthy. Blame the GM if DRob is the best option at DL. It's like Stills as well. Don't blame the player who is playing 50% of snaps, blame the GM who can't find a guy to beat him out.

Dude… this is unhinged. Continuing to stan in any way for 2025 Wendell Bryant is laughable but saying posters are “sucking off Stills”? What’s wrong with you?

I get that you never want to admit you’re wrong about anything but to do so to the point of throwing that kind of invective crap into the discussion is pathetic… and I’m not even one of the people “sucking Stills off”.

Drob is undoubtedly a problem. Joe Scrub from the street can eat snaps. It doesn't make him good.

FWIW I saw stills getting penetration more often than I saw Darius Robinson managing it. Like with Kyler and Brissett, if you have to justify your guy being as visible as Dante Stills, you’ve already lost the argument.

I’m obviously not ready to close the book on Robinson but I’m with the podcasters expecting more from him at this point.

I’d like to see him at edge but we don’t have bodies in the middle right now to move him over.
