Just throwing this out there for discussion, For the REGULAR season, stats show Harden and Embiid rated as the number one performing duo in the NBA. Makes sense when Embiid was the MVP.

Paul gets abused in the switch. He also slows the pace, something Vogel does not want when we get defensive stops. Harden won’t be such a liability both sides of the court

I don’t think we’ll see forth quarter Paul in the playoffs again

Harden gets abused on switches and man plays. He doesn’t defend at all.

He also plays just as slow, if not slower, as Paul.

To me it’s moot. Chris is not a great defender any longer and got abused by fast guys all season long. On the other end he was so plodding bringing the ball up that good defenders were all over him forcing to give up the ball and preventing him from doing what he does best. Not a fan of getting Harden but he would give you more consistent shooting.

Some clarification on the CP3 situation that puts the Suns on equal footing as every team in retaining his services. If he's waived he literally can't make more money than the guaranteed $15M next year due to his contract offset.

Maybe a similar situation when Steve Nash was traded to the Lakers.
