johnson was my favorite pick this year specially where we got him - should've gone top 20 but everybody drafts like the player is actually going to stay on the team for 10+ years

this kid has a limited amount of time to shine and secure his dime - probably can't sleep some nights replaying every team that passed on him including the 3 in our division

i heard will johnson needs help getting his pads on in the locker room due to the gigantic chip on his shoulder

i heard they're making a snatch part two but no brad pitt just will johnson flying thru the air doing what deon wishes his little sanders could do

**** the seahawks - we gotta ball hawk who's gonna silence the lambs and make that fools gold whine - it's football time mother****** and you gotta purdy mouth

most interceptions on the team this year i didn't stutter

I think the only reason that Adams is a lock right now to start at guard is that there isn't really anyone else worth starting over him. Now if the Cardinals sign Hernandez, then the only way Adams starts is if Hernandez isn't physically ready to go. Adams still has to prove that he has improved his Pass blocking when the live bullets start flying for me to be a believer. I have high hopes for Adams to develop into a solid starter but I still want to see it first.
Everyone as in everyone is reporting that Adams is looking good and ready to start.

Why keep a 2nd year player on the bench if that is the case?

Time will tell if he is or not, but if they believe he’s ready then they shouldn’t block his development

Urban was on 98.7 yesterday and opined that even if they sign Will H, Adams has had a good camp and would be the starter.

lets hope Adams improvement is real -- it would be a positive development on a number of dimensions

i would still want Will H for depth

IIRC Harry said that WH wants to return which is a huge positive for me. Our LG is solid but if WH or Adams could play there then not only has the starting oline go from good to very good but our depth is also much better.
Even if we stay with Brown at LG our RG will be at least as good as last year before WH was injured.

I'm all for a 3 way competition for the starting OG spots. I'm not worried about "blocking " Adams, either he's good enough to beat out the others or he's not ready yet. Plus it would be great if we don’t have any injuries to the Oline this season but I'm not betting on that.

3 ways are overrated - i was always the first one finished - it can get pretty awkward

“I love the four seasons” is what everyone that lives anywhere cold says to cover the fact that they’re stuck somewhere cold. Btw, I live in “baby bears porridge” - SoCal. When I want “the four seasons” I go on a vacation.

I still think the roster comparison is a silly game, but you’re going to be surprised by our secondary, and that’s even with the injuries to two of our corners. We have VERY good safeties and it’s not trolling to state Will Johnson is going to be good - all reports from camp have been outstanding. And if melton takes the next step he should be terrific. And Garrett is already elite. Give those guys a legitimate pass rush and they’re going to surprise the league imo.

I think you’re off on Wilson at ILB, he’s pretty good (not all world) but the other slot is a concern. Overall it’s definitely not a strength.

I hope you return later in the season regardless of the experience you have with the packers. Owning your words is an important component of being a fan and participating in another team’s discussion.
I'm retired and still chose to live here. You couldn't pay me to live through another PHX summer. I'm looking at property in Prescott tho. Just so I can get back for all the home games.

Also the bulk of my MMA and boxing judging is in Wisconsin. I live in the valley for almost 40 years and here for the last 25. I am not stuck here I love it here

Yeah… he’s one of the few.

Harrison being kept out for four days because of knee soreness makes me a little jumpy. One injury there and our WR crew goes from mediocre to flat awful.
Mediocre is incredibly kind...we have a questionable #1, below average #2, below average #3, and nothing behind it.

Taking a below average WR room and running it back, hoping that Harrison goes nuts is quite the strategy. If Marv is out for an extended period of time, we likely have the worst WR room in the NFL. Not great!

I didn’t say otherwise? I would think you would know it goes hand-in-hand. If Kyler was playing good, the defense would not be playing good. If Kyler was playing bad, the defense would be playing good. You have basically told me that it’s possible for Kyler to play bad & the defense not to play good, which is lame. Someone has to be doing their part.

This is so surprising from you because you usually don’t struggle like this. I believe you really need to football to start because you just seem bored as hell.
lol I could make all the same statements about you.

You’re so bored that you’re trying to convince me that an article that was explicitly about a kyler struggle was actually not about that but about the defense being great. Lol.

lmao, yea I’m pretty sure you quoted me looking for conviction, not the other way around. Please go get some fresh August air cause we both know you need it.

Good news IMO

I always push for this since the team needs reps so they are not so rusty to start the opener

“I told them last night, they’re going to play,” Gannon said.

While this is a change from previous years, Gannon noted that he feels it’s the best thing for the team entering his third season as head coach.

The Cardinals started 1-3 last season after beginning 2023 1-8. So this could be an effort to help the team get off to a better open to the regular season.

It's not hard to look great in practice. I'm not saying that he can't or won't be a solid starter. I just want to see it in live action games vs someone other than his own teammates.

That was my thinking. As soon as you see the safety come into the frame you realize Kyler’s right throw was to trail the receiver. Whether it was purposeful or not, it was the right placement.
Damnit! And this right after I "100"ed your brother on his dig on that throw. Im so conflicted!!!

Increases my interest in preseason.

Maybe it less likely to see preseason play in the first few games of the regular season.
