It's disgusting that Teoscar Hernandez gets a stupid 23.5 million dollar 1 year deal for the Dodgers. That's their 8 hitter making 1/4 of salary of 1/3 of the teams

The deal will pay Hernández $15 million this season, with $8.5 million deferred to be paid from 2030-39. Hernández reportedly chose the Dodgers’ offer over other multi-year offers:

MLB needs to crack down on these deferred deals - limit the payments to at most 5 years with the clock starting when the contract ends.

The Dodgers rotation isn't that good.

Their ace isn't pitching this year, their 2 has never thrown a MLB pitch. These are projected stats.

For offense, they have power and will hit lots of HRs, but they all also SO a lot and don't hit for average

Lastly, they lost the heart and soul of the team and when he is ready to pitch, the Dbacks should do what they can to keep Kershaw away from the Dodgers. He stated he'd like to go home and pitch for the Rangers! Trade some cash to the Rangers to make that happen!

Deferred deals should escalate with inflation. Fixed.
