I love how diverse the field is, but there are a lot of cupcake groups, like G, H, C and B. Would be pretty awesome to see some upsets (although not against my teams...) :)

Malaga over AC Milan? You know how many problems Malaga is having right now, don't you?

And it's interesting you don't have Dortmund advancing. It's a tough group of death, but Dortmund has won the Bundesliga two years in a row and are almost unbeatable. I'd put them with the edge against Man City.

Dortmund did finish last in their group last year

Where's the annual "The draw is rigged look at Manchester United!!" post?

You think that will happen again? Man City has virtually no experience in CL at all.

I hope not. I hope City flame out like they did last year. Only point was that Dortmund isn't exactly unbeatable.

AC Milan is coming off of a complete overhaul this offseason. It'll take some time for them to get it together. Malaga is going through rough times as well, so it could easily be either or.

Dortmund is unbeatable in Germany, outside of their league they aren't as good.

The last half of that Real Madrid v. Man City game was epic.

Group D is so crazy. Champions of England, Spain, Belgium, and Germany in the same group.

What a strange day--Real Madrid, Manchester City, AC Milan and Arsenal all lost.

Some fun storylines right now......

Man City is in serious trouble.
Shaktar might claim a spot in the final 16 over Chelsea or Juventus
Can Barca claim the top spot in Group G after 4 games?
Group F is up for grabs with three teams at 6 points.
Can Porto hold off PSG?
Is Malaga really that good or are Milan and Zenit that disappointing?

I love the Champions League. lol

It really is sad. He played because they wanted to rest others for the Chelsea game on Sunday.

Chicharito is getting buried like Berbatov was. I hope they move him. I would love to see him in La Liga. A team like Athletico, Malaga, Sevilla, or Valencia would be a good stop for him.

If Atleti lose Falcao (which seems almost certain by next summer), then Chicharito would be an absolutely PERFECT replacement.
