The Cowboys have made a serious offer to the Jets for the number 2 pick. Personally with so many needs I can’t see the Jets refusing unless they are set on Reese.
Have you heard who the Cowboys want?

I think this will tell them if the Jets want Reese. If the Boys want Bailey they talk to the Cards. The Boys have done a good job of concealing which player they want. It almost has to be one of the 2. I’ve asked my best contacts and they feel there’s so much misdirection out there it’s impossible to know reality. Initially Reese was the name but it’s now unclear. Sorry.

Jets have 10 picks in the years draft, 2 in each the first 3 rounds. They need players not more picks. They can get a premier defensive player at #2. Dumb for them to trade down as they traded all their top defensive players for picks.
Yeah but the Jets do have a ton of needs.

The rumor has been Bailey
So what are you hoping for Chopper. I want Bailey but would be equally excited for a trade down, especially if they want to draft Simpson.
I truly want Edge and OT taken in rounds 1 and 2.

My order of preference at 3 is probably
1-Bailey (production over traits)
2-Reese (I think he has the highest upside and I don't care that Monti gets fired if he fails)
3-Mauigoa (I think he is a good player who fills a need but there are plenty of options to fill RT spots year after year)
4-Love (good player but is dependent on other offensive factors and RBs on bad teams don't generally sign 2nd contracts. Another easier position to fill.)

Round 2 there are several players I like. Obviously Simpson should be considered. If some of the RTs fall they can be an option. You could do worse than Blake Miller in round 2 IMO. I like some of the edges available. I really like Jacob Rodriguez but the missed tackles are a worry. Lee Hunter is a bit old for a prospect but he is a nice player. IDK if it is too early for Big Citrus but he is also a nice option.

Round 2 has a lot of options.

I think round 3 might have some nice options as well. Sam Hecht could be a very nice stretch zone C. Both Bud Clark and Kyle Louis are solid prospects. Darrell Jackson is a massive NT that should be on the board in 3.

As lackluster as many might feel the options at 3 are, day 2 should be fun to discuss.

Mine is pretty close if the Cards stay at 3:
1-Bailey (Would be nice to have a potential elite pass rusher opposite of Sweat)
2-Mauigoa (If MLF wants to solidify the run game for the future then I'm fine with this pick)
3-Love (A luxury pick but he could be really special. Would set up whatever young QB that the Cards bring in eventually with some elite weapons)

I mean can you afford to not draft Orange with an awesome nickname like "Big Citrus". I wouldn't use the #34 overall for him. However he should be there with the #65 overall pick which I wouldn't mind at all. I don't believe that he goes in the 2nd because he is a one dimensional run stuffer. Drafting him would add some depth to the NT position which is needed.

Agree that from what I have seen, he is probably a NT only. I think he is a nice player tho.
