Not in this draft. There's not a big difference in talent from Picks 22 and 34. They're almost getting D. Hop for free if this is the deal.

It is a bit nuanced than that. It depends on what you are looking for. If you want to add a lineman (o or d), 22 is a much better spot than 34. Same with CB.
EDGE, RB, WR, TE...not much of a difference.

I want extra picks. I don't want to move up into the first very much.
Passing up on Will Anderson to move all the way back to 11 and then trading DHop to pick again at 22 feels a lot like losing Suggs for 17 and 18.

I am saying at OL, DL and CB, yes, that player at 22 would be much better than at 34. And you get a 5th year option.

We aren't drafting a QB, the difference in value will not be nearly that high.

There isn't when you are locked into a player and most likely drafting him too high just to get him, which is what this deal screams, and their talks to the media of heavily targeting specific players.

I'm sorry, this roster is barren. If ever there is a time for best player available this is the year. I see no reason to be trading up at all in this draft.

Mahomes isn't on our team because moving up 1-3 spots for QBs with tons of warts (at the time) for the cost of a future first round pick and maybe more would have gotten the team absolutely eviscerated by the fanbase. And would have been decried as one of the dumbest moves this franchise has ever made if Mahomes didn't develop in AZ like he did under Andy Reid.
