Furthermore the guy that averaged 7 YPC and had 1 whopping TD last year. Was a year younger and in actual football shape is gonna come in and be some savior? Please people give it up…

The absolute only positive thing in Fitz's corner, is he's had a year to fully rest and recover. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he could give a couple of weeks of juiced energy and help on offense. We've seen it before with this team and old washed up vets. We wouldn't need Larry to be Larry for 17 games...just 60% Larry for 3-4 games.

If you think about it as a very short term thing, it may not be the worst idea.

Respectfully disagree. Maybe you didn't notice the lack of leadership in the huddle in that disastrous final possession Monday night. Larrys hands are still Top 5 in the NFL, adding him if DHop is out upgrades this teams WR corps.

When you throw in "Maybe you didn't notice...etc." it's not very respectful IMO. But, no big deal. Larry would have had NO effect on that final possession, also IMO.

We can agree to disagree on Fitz. It's all good.

Ideally you would have signed him after the Green Bay game to let let him get a few weeks of practice to get in game shape. One tweak and he could really be done.

I dont hate it though. Young QB, Young HC I have no problem with another vet being there and ready to help guide them in big moments. Kyler's a better passer this year on intermdiate passes so it makes Fitz more useful as well.

I dont think its going to happen. Again I dont hate having him on the roster if it happens.

The other thing is he has had 2 years in Kliff's offense and working with Kyler. If Dhop is out for more than a couple games it makes sense to put him the practice squad to determine if he has anything left.

Even without dhop it’s no excuse.. went 2-1 without Kyler and dhop and against better teams.
