Hard to believe no thread on this. I watched all of season one on demand over last week and it is really really really good. Season two starts on the 27th. If you aren't watching you are truly missing out.

I watched a couple episodes when I was traveling in a hotel somewhere. I thought it was pretty good.

There wasn't a thread on this? Hard to believe. I watched last season and absolutely loved it. Am stoked this is almost back. It's based on a mostly legendary character with an incredible story.

Weird the lack of attention some of these shows get. haha

Got all caught up on this last night.

Stoked for Season 2 starting here in a couple of hours.

One thing I've learned from the show is I should have been a Viking.

I recorded season one to DVD last year, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Glad I saw this thread. Really liked the show and was wondering when season two would start. Hopefully anything I missed will be available on demand.

Must have been one helluva storm to get blown that far off course.

Shooting for Northumbria and ended up in Wessex.

Watched the 1st season via Amazon Prime. I realized the episode that I saw in the hotel was the S1 finale. Interesting. Pretty good. I'm hooked.

Just started watching this in season 2. Fantastic. My favorite show, the first series I've started to watch in years. (For example, I haven't seen one second of "Breaking Bad").

I managed to never hear of it, and literally stumbled across it on episode one, season 2.

You really need to go back n watch that my friend. You missed way too much.

This season is tearing it up, IMO.

I thought they'd written themselves into a corner with Rollo, but bravo to the show writers for pulling off his redemption.]

Last night's episode was excellent, even though there were no battle scenes.

I have no clue what Ragnar is up to. I know he was bummed out about his kid, "Ivar the Boneless", but he acted strange (at least to me based on what I've seen in the second season) the entire episode.

Too bad this is over for the year. Even the wife got into it and really enjoyed it too.

I'm glad Floki turned out not to be a traitor after all.

I'll admit i fell for the plot. I had no idea how Ragnar would survive. Awesome ending!! Floki is one of my all time favorite characters in anything, ever.

This show needs more episodes. Almost a year until next season.

Donal Logue aka King Horik has now the distinction of being brutally whacked in 2 series in the same year.

This is by far one of the best TV series on TV. Love this show. I also like how it's based on actual events. Like Shane said, if you are not watching this show you are missing out!

Um, no. You read something quite erroneous. It's based on a fictional, legendary character that barely has a kernel of history behind the legend. Some of the broad brush strokes are accurate, like the Vikings raiding Ireland and England, yes.
