The Minnesota Vikings struggled against Micah Parsons when they faced him in 2025. In just one game, the Packers All-Pro pass rusher racked up two tackles, two sacks, two tackles for a loss, and three QB hits. He created a lot of chaos for the team, while they were able to defeat the Vikings by a whopping 23-6.
On Thursday, ESPN's Rob Demovsky spoke on NFL Live and discussed how the Packers are not going to see their pass rusher lineup for them at the start of the season.
Demovsky explained, "Micah Parsons' initial hope that he could play within the first month of the season was never realistic, and the team knew it. It's simple math, really. He was injured on December 14th. He had surgery on December 29th, and they have a nine-month rule where an ACL rehab guy doesn't do anything, and that includes practice for nine months following the surgery. He starts the season on PUP (list), automatically out the first four games, that pushes us into early October."
Parsons would potentially be back for their second matchup in Week 10. That would be roughly five weeks into his season if he does return in October as they project.
