Kubel steps up with runners on 2nd and 3rd... and they intentionally walk him! Bummer!! Hopefully Miggy can make something happen now!

Montero works out a walk to force in another run... Upton now with the bases loaded... will THIS be the at-bat where he FINALLY busts out????

He made contact instead of striking out, but tried to pull the outside pitch and lifted a weak fly to right. It's odd to me that most pitchers seem to start him off with a fastball for a quick strike, and he seems to take most of them.

He did have a nice HUSTLE double and scored in the next at-bat...

Upton was a few feet away from a bases clearing double on his bases loaded at bat.

Oh well

Still 7 for 12 in the series.

After the Upton and Young doubles, Blanco homers, Saunders singles.

Roberts is only hitless Dback today

Out-hit the Reds 14 to 6 today, and still got beat... Certainly appears that any remaining magic from last year is now entirely gone.

Shaw just threw up all over himself today... and Goldy with a game-changing error at first base. Ouch... :bang:

occasional error from a rookie I can live with - but that should not have been in play had the pitching staff done their job

Blum released and Wheeler called up... He was a 5th round pick in '09, the year Davidson was the first round pick... Interesting...

Geoff Blum's BAVG & SLUG% ended at .143, with an OBP of .194. Releasing him was a no-brainer. Especially at age 39. At least the D'backs are trying to move in the right direction.

Good. I honestly know very little about Wheeler, but glad they got rid of the old to give the young guy a shot.

Wheeler was my choice to bring up, no matter where they were drafted. It should be interesting.
