First off, Anquan Boldin will be a member of the 2009 Cardinals and they will look for late round help at runningback. There is nothing inticing on the board in the first two rounds that would make them trade up. However they will take a falling player regardless of need.

Finally, my spidey sense tells me that Whiz's positive comments regarding Sendlein means they are targeting a center.

This is how I would project these issues also. There are too many unknowns. For example, if Boldin refuses the best offer the Cards make the chances of a trade increase. Likewise, what is offered in a trade should have significant impact on whether the Cards would accept. If a another 1st round pick is part of the trade, the odds of selecting a RB in the first round would increase dramatically.

The Cards will draft Knowshon if he is on the board at #31 because that would make him far and away the BPA, so that is a two-for-one. They have confidence in Sendlein since they made it to the big game with him, but that doesn't eliminate drafting a center.

No, unless a damn good trade falls in their lap. That would be a trade that nets us a mid to late first rounder this year, a third too or a 2nd or 1st next year. But I'm guessing he's a card again.

It depends on what is there at 31. If we trade boldin and get a pick in the 20 range, then yes.
