Come on Miller. Let's have a couple of shut down outs here with a runner on second.

This pitcher's not too bad. Hit 99 on the gun just now. Early on, they said his fastball averages 97.

Eivaldi has retired 18 in a row! We're being outhit 10 - 1... This isn't a contest... It's an embarrassment! [emoji35]

They need to pinch hit for Ahmed in these situations

I don't care how good his D is. Deal him and Miller why we still can.
Ahmed's defense has been slipping, too. He's made errors recently and some not-so-good fielding plays.

If Pollock and Peralta were not both injured, it would be difficult for Chip to bench Drury and keep Ahmed in the starting lineup, rather than move Drury permanently to 2B and Segura back to his natural position of SS.

However, when Segura and Owings both started in the infield recently, I noticed that Segura remained at 2B and Owings started at SS, rather than vice versa.

If Chip did that to keep from jockeying Segura around, good for him. But moving him to SS on a permanent basis, that is a different story. Maybe he is stalling until after the All Star voting.
